Life without You

She was still sitting on the bench waiting for him as usual... no matter what happened Suman always waited for Shravan.
She gazed at the mountains and the old trees that have witnessed their friendship. Her relation with Shravan was unexplainable to anyone.
Both were different yet their feelings were the same. If one was angry the other would get angry at the same time.
Complications were very common but their bond was far beyond than any problems in life...
She smiled looking at the sunrise... the cool wind touched her silk locks... with both hands on the bench, she placed her chin on the back of her hand and turned around to watch the beautiful mountains.
It reminded her of her childhood, adolescence she spent at this place.
She took a deep breath and remembered her last day when she saw Shravan...

5 years back
Suman was still busy with the restaurant work...she was only eighteen when she started the business. There was a magic in her hands...all the people of the town knew her by the delicious food that was served in her restaurant.
She started her business by a small take away service and now it has changed into a big restaurant. Her only mission was serving her customers with love and the best quality food.
She heard the news from one of her friends that Shravan is back from London...her childhood friend, her best mate...he was back...
Suman was far more than happy.
She quickly drove back home from the beautiful paths on the mountains... weather was pleasant... she knew if Shravan is back he will meet her at the same point.
She drove the car towards the highest point in the town. That was their favourite place... she parked the car near the huge tree and glanced around with a broad smile...
Suman stepped out of the car only to see him standing some feet away...her heart was in her mouth... She had seen him after so many years. The moment he turned around she stopped.
Her eyes could not believe he was so handsome, but same intense eyes. He smiled at her almost making her fall...
He stepped closer to the thin frame... Suman looked beautiful as usual but this time she was blushing. First the happiness of him coming back to her second his same intense gaze that hasn't changed at all in these years...
She forgot everything for that moment... another instance her body felt crushed next to his... he was embracing her tightly in his arms and pushed her against the huge tree.
"Shravan"... She whispered in his ear
She closed her eyes and felt his lips on her neck, it was a little peck but that made her completely lost in his touch...
There was no stopping from there...as if they were waiting to melt into each other's arms...
"Sumo...I missed you"
With moist eyes she looked at him...he didn't forget her in these years instead he admitted that he missed her... she embraced him again.

Thoughts flowed in her mind...while she was still watching the sunrise. Her life without Shravan was incomplete.
After those smiles she thought about the pain he gave her...that she cannot forget her whole life.
She had always wanted Shravan to realise her love for him but it never happened...today she was sitting at the same place where she was ten years back. She heard her phone vibrating in her bag... "Yes, I am coming"
Suman was a successful entrepreneur who was now running five restaurants but her attitude, her thinking was still the same. She still eats and enjoys with her employees no matter how much fame she earned in these years...
Five years was definitely a long time.
She wiped her tears that gathered around her beautiful eyes... every night she thought about him...about their times together...

Flashback
He embraced her tightly in her arms the moment she stepped in his room "how long do you take to come Sumo?"
Suman smiled hiding her face in his chest...
After few seconds when he pulled away a little she looked at him giving broad smiles "There was lots of work Shravan"
"Now I won't let you go anywhere...you have to stay with me" he demanded and squeezed her hand...
She smiled "ok, but I have to leave in the evening. There's a party organised at the restaurant and I have to..."
"Sshh" he kept his finger on her lips... "That's it...I won't listen to you"
Adamant he pulled her next to her on the bed...
She shyly looked away... "Shravan...I"
He gazed at her... then pulled her in his arms... "I missed you too..."
He looked at the door... "Let me close the door..."
Nervously she glanced around "where's everyone?"
"Whole family is gone to some marriage function...they will come tomorrow..." he squeezed her hand
Her heart beats increased "then I should leave Shravan"
He hold her hand "why?"
She looked everyone but not him "don't know...but.."
His hands walked towards her arms as he bent down to kiss on her neck... she closed her eyes ... "Shravan I am scared"
"Don't be Sumo...just relax" he whispered in her ear...
His hands slowly reached the zip at the back of her dress...
"Let me go please" she murmured with her eyes still closed...
"I can't" he whispered back and pulled her dress over her shoulders...then unbuttoned his shirt and flung it away.
"I have been waiting for this day Sumo..." his lips travelled to her cheeks down to her neck and throat...
"The day I will make my Sumo mine forever..." tightly held her waist closer to his body... "The day I will tell my Sumo" he looked in her eyes this time...
"Tell what?" she whispered looking passionately at him...
"that I love her" he kissed her luscious lips... she was dying for these words ever since he left her and went away to become a lawyer...
all these years she only wanted this... and today finally when he had confessed she wants to die in his arms... forever...
She never ever thought in her dreams that he would be so passionate about her... "I love you too Shravan"
That was enough for Shravan to arouse... he didn't stop after that...
She closed her eyes as he lay on top of her, feeling his weight on her tiny body. There was no going back now. He caressed her body as if he worshipped... she felt the extreme pain and pleasure under his touch...
After some time
She heard her phone vibrating in her bag somewhere under the bed...
"Shravan my phone..."
"Umm...Sumo this is not the time" he said moving on top of her...
This was the second time he was making love to her...
"But Shravan..." she was getting distracted thinking it might be an important call...
"Sumo" he whispered and deeply kissed her lips thus shutting her voice...

Suman wiped the last tears and tried to sleep...she thought of not recalling her past life anymore. She must forget everything and move on with her life.
Next Day...
Suman got a huge order for a marriage function...happiness didn't matter at all. It was just her work that she was happy doing. But it wasn't affecting her much.
"All the decorations are done?"
Her staff was competent but she made she checks everything herself.
The moment her eyes fell on the board "Shravan weds Kalpana"
Again tears gathered around her eyes... So it was true... he was marrying some one else...
She wanted to run from there. She won't sit here and enjoy his wedding. No she needs answers to her questions...
She will not tolerate this anymore...
