After loads of studies, I was finally able to watch the episode a couple hours ago. I really missed the LU discussion today. But it's okay, will join again from tomorrow.😆
About this post, I'm not sure if anyone has made a topic on this idea already or not. I didn't get a chance to look through all the posts, so I am choosing to post this. I apologize if it's a repeat.
Firstly, the scene between Ramnath and Suman was executed in the most brilliant manner ever! The battle was equally strong from both sides. I think today was the first time, in weeks, where I've enjoyed a Shraman-less episode (that too one that involves Ramnath) so much.
Secondly, when Suman said something along the lines of, "...uss din aap samjhenge ki hum ek duje ke liye bane hai", literally brought shivers down my spine and made me cry. What Shravan and Suman mean to each other was illustrated through that line and it was beautiful. Just beautiful! Like OH. MY. GOODNESS.
Now coming to the main idea of this post...
Suman told Ramnath that she has to choose her family because of their ehsaan on her. So she has no other choice but to forget Shravan. The fact that she chose her family is very, very literal here. Yes, she had to choose her family, right? After all they took care of her throughout the years. But did she just choose Shravan, as well? I mean she challenged Ramnath that one day Shravan will realize her love and will go to her. That day Ramnath won't be able to stop him at all. Suman has that faith and belief in Shravan, from day one. Which is why during the PCT demolition incident she couldn't imagine the fact that Shravan actually did anything of that sort. She is very confident about the fact that Shravan will come to her. This just indicates that Shravan is always by Sumo's side. He has never left, nor will he ever leave her side. Sumo had to explicitly state that she is choosing her family because they're selfish. If she does one thing wrong, mami won't leave any stone unturned to taunt her. Whereas, Shravan shouts and stuff, but in the end he isn't selfish like Sumo's family. He is always by her side no matter what. Therefore, I felt like Sumo didn't have to choose Shravan. This time around, he will understand her and find answers, she is very well aware of this due to her belief, hence she said he will realize her love. So her choice of Shravan was contexual and very subtle.
In addition, she told Ramnath that her situation is a lose-lose one. But it's actually quite the opposite! She ended up with family and Shravan! It's surely a win-win for her. Ramnath is the one who got a lose-lose situation and he was quite aware of that. Today he was actually defeated by Suman. His expressions revealed that he understood his loss. When she challenged him about not being able to stop his son later on, Ramnath understood that he actually lost this battle. He actually failed as a father. But obviously he won't express that literally, because he is RAMNATH. Anyhow, today was his first downfall and it is simply the beginning of many more. Soon he will witness the loss of his son to sumo. And that day isn't far away!
Okay...Finally I'm done!
I don't even know if anything written above about Suman choosing/not choosing Shravan made sense because I am not very good at explaining.
Anyhow, I'm just really excited to see how this track unfolds starting tomorrow. Shravan will surely do something. He won't be able to see Sumo avoiding him.
