Hello everyone!
I feel like I need to let out suppressed frustration about the current issue.
So basically, after watching the episode, I've come to a conclusion about preeti and Pushkar. Pushkar evidently has no backbone and Preeti has no self-respect.
The girl who was telling Pushkar that they're just best friends 2 days ago, is at a stage where she can die if she isn't married to him. What BS?! Also, the girl who decided to sit apart in a park, gave Pushkar permission to kiss again atop the terrace. What was that? Sitting together isn't a big deal at all. Having self control even by sitting together is a BIG DEAL. And Preeti has none and neither does Pushkar. They're just desperate for each other. This is love where one can't even stand up for the other person and allows her family to get insulted in that manner. He didn't even come outside to drop off her family!! Ugh! And Preeti, I expected more from her too. She heard that the guy she likes, no... sorry, LOVES, wasn't able to stand up for her family when they were insulted. She heard he wasn't able to say ANYTHING! Still she was crying to Suman about how she can't stay without him and all that BS. What kind of a girl is she? She is ready to take the insult of her parents, her mother, her father, her nanu? Who supported her in this and went to speak to the malhotras? She should've said that she won't marry a guy who cannot stand up me! If he can't say anything today, he won't be able to say anything tomorrow. This time the rejection should've been from tiwaris. That would've displayed her strong character. But NOPE! And all her tears have to flow in front of Suman. Smh!
On the other hand, Shravan and Suman, these two have such powerful characters! This is why I love them. They have held hands in front of everyone, have sat next to each other. Shravan even walked out in front of his family to help Suman during the case of Khosla. But never did they lose self control. This is what you call a pure and unconditional affection. Love isn't just about physical attraction that preekar share, it's about respecting each other and truly standing up for them when the time comes. Like Shravan, he is a person who can never hear anything against Suman. He will bury that person alive in the ground if he/she dares to say anything against her. And today, he made sure to assure her. He made her believe in him by holding her hand. He even held nanu and brought him outside. He dropped off everyone to the gate. Yeah, these two don't romance under sarees or kiss in the air. But whatever they do, is way more pure and true than the couple above.
So now, should sumo take the cheque because it's for her family, mainly the ridiculous couple, preeti and Pushkar? I will say NO! She should NOT take the cheque under any circumstance at all. Self respect is a thing which stays with you throughout, it doesn't go away when the question of family comes along. Which is why Suman chose to be angry with Shravan when he gave money to Khosla and bought the tiwari killa. He had helped her family, but she didn't accept that because her mother's name wasn't wiped out. Justice was important to her than her family. Similarly, here she has to choose between love and money. Money can never buy anything. There are many other ways in which Pushkar and preeti's marriage issue can be sorted. She doesn't even have to think twice to select Shravan. For the moment, let's say it wasn't about Shravan. It was just about the money. And Ramnath came by to help her by giving her money. That's it! No ulterior motif. Would she take the money? Would it be right to take it? If I was in her place, I wouldn't be able to do it.
I feel like Shravan and Suman should stay out of this preekar mess, which they won't, but I really wished they did. Pushkar and Preeti aren't even trying to solve anything. If they were trying and nothing worked, then seeking help from Shraman would've made sense. But solely depending on Shraman is NOT the correct thing to do. All preeti does is cry in front of Suman with her small and annoying eyes (she is really making me angry). Everyone has to cry in front of Suman, even Nirmala did that and got sumo into trouble and she left. Now it's preeti's turn. But sumo, please don't make the same mistake again. And seriously, if Pushkar truly loves preeti, he should tell his mother that a destination wedding won't happen because he is aware they can't afford so much. If love is all that he cares about, he should speak up! So taking money from Ramnath isn't the only way to sort this matter.
