Shravan storms outside the doctor's cabin and begins pacing back and forth. these words..."there are chances where she can NEVER become normal again" continuously haunt him.
Shravan guilt ridden, "Pushkar sab meri galati hai"

The nurse wheels sumo in on a stretcher, Shravan looks on with a pain stricken face. Seeing her so helpless gnaws at him from the inside.

Sumo looks at him, trying to gauge his reaction. Helpless as she may be, she knows he is dying. She knows it's killing him to see her so, she aches to tell him, "Shravan it's not your fault, it's nobody's fault. Don't blame yourself. Alas she can't!
Shravan's eyes swell up, filled with pain and tears,

as he watches her being wheeled away into a new room for further rest. Pushkar witnesses all this and places his right hand on Shravan's left shoulder, assuring him that it will all be okay.
The scene transitions into a new morning, sumo wakes up to see her entire family, including Shravan and Pushkar.

Sumo's lips tug into a small smile seeing her entire family being so supportive. Shravan notices the content on her face, he promises himself, no matter what he will get Suman back to being Sumo, his Sumo!
This is the very love Sumo always longed for, but the situation in which it came, was simply ironic. There was so much she wanted to say, so much she wanted to do, but no matter how much she tried, she couldn't put across a syllable. Shravan noticed her longing, he obviously could read her eyes like a book. It came to him easily. His resolve now stronger than ever, he left her be with her family for a bit while he went to the doctor to discuss further course of action.
The doctor was very positive about sumo's prognosis. He explained to Shravan the patience and perseverance required to treat Suman.
He told shravan, "Mr. Malhotra, in such a condition, patients loose their will to live, their dependence on others for daily chores kills their self-confidence. You are in no way to let her feel she is helpless or that she can't survive on her own. You have to be her support, be loving towards her so that she fights this state"
Shravan who was hanging on to every word

that left the doctor's mouth as though his life depended on it, finally spoke, "Doctor, that girl lying on the bed, she is my best friend, my life. You know her as Suman, I know her as Sumo, it's an endearment I bestowed her with, do you know why? Cause she's a fighter, she's resilient. And me, I've learnt strength from her, she is my strength. I won't fail her. I wasn't around when she needed me, had I been there for her this would never have happened, I can't undo what's happened, but this is can do. I will make sure sumo's back on her feet, yelling, fighting, caring, loving, being herself in the very essence."
With that he got up to go back to her room, the white of the room a stark contrast to his effervisent sumo. As he left the doctor couldn't help but smile, he hadn't seen to many such supportive people in his time as a doctor. He thought to himself, love like this is commendable. He had seen families break, husbands walk out on their wives at the slight hint of physical incapacity. This man here, who called himself his patient's friend, was ready to walk to the ends of the earth to bring her back. He felt relaxed knowing all well his patient was going to be fine, very soon.
Shravan walked back into the room, sumo's family was seeing themselves out, they knew with shravan here, there was no need for them to worry about their daughter.
Sumo looked on at shravan, he was as if contemplating something. He smiled at her, walked towards her, held her hand

and said, "Sumo, you do trust me right?" Sumo blinked her eyes in affirmation. Shravan continued, "Mai hoon tumhare saath Sumo, Hamesha, yeh yaad rakhna. Aur hum dono saath mai kuch bhi kar sakte hai. Dard hoga, waqt lagega, par tum Sumo ho, meri Sumo, tumhe wapas aana hi hoga. Kar sakogi mere liye? Apne liye? Humare liye?"
A tear escaped sumo's eyes, Shravan wiped it with the pad of his thumb and said, "nahi sumo. Rona mat. Sab theek ho jayega"

Precap: Shravan helping sumo with physiotherapy. "Come on Sumo, another 10 seconds, keep holding my finger, you got this" Sumo putting every once of strength in her body to continue holding his finger.
