Greetings!
Wow, what a week it's been. Ups, downs, outs and abouts.
To say that this week on EDKV was action packed is clich because that's how it is every week.
This week was a crescendo. It started off calm with testy waters then rose like the tide that washed away atlantis.
Beautifully crafted and splendidly performed! The CVs and the actors never fail to amaze me! Also, the dialogue department, TAKE A BOW, YOU TALENTED PIECES OF SHIT! making me squirm and cry and splinch in my seat all week! I hate you all for playing with the fandom's emotions like that!
So, the walk through:
Monday: qismat, ittefaaq aur faasle. Those beautiful soliloquays in the beginning were so spell binding.
"Ye qismat hai ya ittefaaq"
He tries to avoid her but she's omnipresent. In his thoughts and then turns up at the side of the road. In need of help. He can't help himself but help her. He may have called out to Dabbu but it's obvious! The song! Title track playing that particular part during that moment shredded my heart into tiny little pieces!
I am a big sucker for good soundtracks! Especially when the soundtrack resonates withe very single scene in the show!
Have you ever felt like a hand was clutching your heart in place and squeezing it?
Any tvd or the originals fans here? You know what i'm talking about, the hand through the chest and heart squeeze that is physical on the show but mental and emotional for us

LOVED SHRAVAN- RAMNATH SCENE! the way he revolves around his father with utmost concern in his eyes.
Namik Paul' eyes are so expressive, it drives me crazy, how and what in the world man! Kust 2 minutes ago your eyes are all scrunched and tensed and dropped coz you cant figure out what you're feeling and in the next moment his eyes are steely, sure and yet authoritatively concerned about his father. Beautiful <3

Tuesday and the whole anjali party fiasco:
Firstly, Is it just me who got a little too excited with that fingers through the hair thing? *squirms in excitement internally*
What is with this whole group of people? XD
Girls, your flirting game is despicable XD why did they treat him like a hurt little baby XD
They somehow seem to know that shraman have been best friends since school, then say they know they're friends since the reunion party, then say tumhe nahi pata hoga toh kise hoga, tum dono ka toh hamesha ka jhagdha hai, make up yaar and so on...

makin' them sit like middle school children trying to solve fights. What was next? Make them show each other their thumbs and say dosti?! XD
Back to their awkwardness on that sofa...i saw it as the first sign of actual real sexual tension between them. Any scenes that were similiar before, like the almost bite, fall save, or whatever, everything had an emotional attachment to it. But now that even he has realized that he feels more, albeit again, we can see that future moments like these are coming!!
The way he slowly slithers his fingers out of her hair is so *inappropriate thoughts*

The entire convo on the terrace is just everything. It's the entire week in flat 3 minutes! He's not even fighting anymore, he is sick of fighting with her so he just tells her his inhibitions:
"mai phirse tootna nahi chaahta."
A simple line that sums up Shravan Malhotra!
The hug was ethereal, her feet off the ground, his arms around her and ofcourse the way he looks at her after that. *twinklyeyes*
His voice is so soft with concern, pagal ho tum?!
This is because he is in shock. He was running away from her because he was afraid. But now he knows she wont let him go. And that instantly cleared his allusions and he just had to leave.
The realization:
Thats the thing with broken people. People who have been deprived of affection deal with these demons everyday. It takes forever to trust a person or fall in love, but once even a sliver of it comes to them with assurance, they take it with full force.
Jab ek arsa hojata insaan ko mohabbat ke liye taraste hue, uski nazar chhoti se chhti cheez se dil bhar leti hai. Is baat ka bharosa ki aap pe bhi koi mohabbat nijhawar karne tayyar hai, banadeti hai patthar ko bhi mom.
A lot of people were like oh why so sudden the realization...blah blah blah...
Children, take it from someone who knows a lot about this, this what happens in real life.
Jitna door bhagsakte bhaagte, magar ek mohabbat ka ishara aur wapas palat ke us hi kahar mei aana hai.

ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SCENES FROM THE WEEK: when shravan finally sees nirmala.
Ohgod, namik, you murdered me dead in this one. How beautifully shot was this?
The look on shravan's face is not just shock. It's the relief taht runs in his eyes, straight to his heart. He hadn't seen his mom in 10 years.
10 f**king years! It doesn't matter if he was mad at her or loathed her. What matters is the favt that he is still her son and missed her. And somewhere, burried deep down under the layers of despise, cold heartedness and denial, he still loves her. That would be my exact expression if i saw my mom after 10 years.
Living with the loss of a parent since a young age, dead or alive takes a toll on anyone.
I can imagine what must be going through his head. Because his heart had lost all battles in that one moment. When nirmala placed her hand on him, i had to look away. It hit too close to home and i felt someone was showing me a dream of what i will never have. But we're talking about shravan here!
Now, time for some character bashing!!:
RAMNATH YOU SHADY ASS MOFO! Bitch you aint never gon' be able to live with what you've done. It's going to bite you in the face like a bloody spitting snake!
And the snake here is Kamini.

Hey guys! Sorry if the post is too long! I know, not my best, but i will try to make 'em better! This week on edkv was all over the place! I struggled as a few things hit too close to home. But it was a good week in the end!
