"Excuse me"Nirmala asked the receptionist of Malhotra and Associates
"Yes Ma'am,how may I help you?"The receptionist replied
"I would like to meet Mr.Shravan Malhotra,could you direct me to his cabin" Nirmala asked
"Sure Ma'am,come this way"The receptionist smiled leading Nirmala to Shravan's cabin
*knock knock*
"Come in" A stern voice came from inside the cabin
"Good Morning Sir,some Miss.Nirmala has come to meet you,shall I send her inside'?Asked the innocent receptionist
Shravan shivered under the name 'Nirmala'. He had already had enough of Sumo last week and this week he didn't want another showdown.
"Tell her that I am busy and if she insists on staying or coming the next day tell her I am extremely busy and I would not like to meet her"Shravan said raising his voice to a certain level
"Oka.." And the receptionist was cut in midway
"I would not go anywhere,today I have come to talk and nothing can stop me" Nirmala stated sternness visible on her just like her son
Seeing her boss with an extremely angry face,jaw clenched and palms fisted she knew there was something big between the lady and him and seeing that she wasn't needed in there she excused herself and left.
"Mrs Nirmala Ahuja,I have already had enough, you have nothing left to clarify about what you did 10 years ago.So please leave!" Shravan announced his index finger pointing at the door
"Aaj mein tumhari nahi Suman ke Maa bankar ayi hoon"Nirmala stated
Shravan was taken aback but controlled himself and said"Acchaa toh usne appko kya bataya?Yahi kaha hoga ke Shravan ne mujhse yeh kaha,mere saath yeh kiya aur mujh bhi chillaya.Aur aap humesha ke tarah apne bete ko chodkar kissi aur ke liye bhagi chali gayi"
Those words said by him pierced through Nirmala's heart but at the same time anger was boiling at the highest temperature inside her as she could see the reflection of the same animal she once saw in Ramnath,now in her son.
"Suman ne kuch nahi kaha. Yahi toh problem hai,voh kuch kehti nahi hai. Pata nahi kya hua hai usse? Ek hafta aane ko aye hai na usne is hafte mein ek baar humse kuch baat ke na voh room see bahar nikli,bas subaha PCT ke liye nikalti hai aur sham ko ghar lautkar apne aap ko room mein lock karlete hai.
Aisa lagta he nahi hai ke voh is ghar par moujood hai. Ekdum zeena laash ke tarah ghoomti rehte hai,na koi hosh rehta na hee khud par koi bass. Bass din raat roti he rehte hai.Pata nahi voh humari Suman kahan chali gayi hai" Nirmala said tears brimming up in her eye remembering Suman's condition.
"Toh isse mera kya lena dena" Shravan asked controlling his voice from choking as he knew the reason behind Sumo's state was he himself.It hurt him really bad somewhere.
"Yeh joh tum natak kar rahe ho na,voh kisse aur ke saamne karna. Mujhe pata hai ke Suman kee iss halat ke zimmedar tum ho,tumse milne see pehele to voh ekdum theek thee pata nahi tumne aise kya kiya uske saath ke beechare zinda laash ke tarah ghum rahi hai" Nirmala said her voice angry for her son and concerned for Suman
Shravan had enough of Suman now.First she had almost tried to cut his bond with his father and now she had taken his mother against him too. He gritted his teeth and the words that came out of his mouth were totally different from what he thought. The care for Suman was now replaced with anger and without giving a second thought he said,
"Joh meine kiya voh bilkul theek kiya,uss jaise ladki ke saath aisa he hona chaiye! Akhir voh bhi toh mehsoos kare ke sachha dard hota kya hai." Shravan spoke not realising that he would regret it too soon
Nirmala nodded her in disbelieve.She knew her son had been moulded this way and the reason behind it was herself but what she didn't know until the moment that he had turned into an animal maybe worse than his father.
"Shravan tum bohut pachtaooge" Nirmala left wiping the tears that had managed to spill out of her eyes on seeing the dark side of her son ,leaving a confused Shravan behind.
