English translation of the shayari!!

I am so in love with the shayari...that I loosely translated it to English so I can share it with some of my friends who do not understand Hindi!! Also thought of sharing it with you guys!! It's a feeble attempt at capturing the essence of the beautiful piece of writing!!

The warmth of winter

The shadows of summer

Drizzles of the first rain

A stunning scenery!

I wonder why...

They remind me of your touch!

I wonder why...

Your vacuous verses enamor me such!

Shayari is difficult to translate as there is also the fear of the loss of idiomatic expression that is unique to a language...yet it can be loosely translated to get its essence.

I will make only a small correction

The word used is "betuki"...which translates into "ridiculous"...meaning he is seems to fall in love with her silly talk...he wonders why he is enamored by her silly talk...😆

In a way I am glad they made the shayari something that would be so right for a 16 year old to mouth...😆😆
