i feel cvs are doing this on purpose .. they want us to be as confused and frustrated as sumo regarding his feelings ..
hence we get no POV scenes of shravan ..
i feel he has repressed feeling towards tht he has buried them deep down and sometimes it surfaces but he has friendship on top ..

See, I don't think he has FORGOTTEN that he loves her or is ignoring his feelings, per say. I think he has just convinced himself that Sumo has no feelings for him and that his love is one-sided. At this point, he doesn't believe that there is 0.00001 percent chance of her being in love with him. His childhood heartbreak has essentially made him lose hope that she may ever develop feelings for him. So in essence, he is just SETTLING for friendship because he doesn't think there can be anything more.
But when you see someone you love with someone else, that's when reality hits you, that they are no longer going to be a part of your life.
And though he has changed the name for his feelings for Sumo from love into friendship, he can never deny the fact that she is a vital part in his life and he needs her. đŸ˜³

Wait are you guys seriously questioning if he still loves Sumo?

When she asked did you ever love someone, the way he said "Yes." He still loves her, he's might say he's "moved on" but he's only really just moved on from the idea of her ever loving him back, not from her.

Dude the man still carries the book & the letter. And aaj, "Mere liye important hai, bas."

I'm sorry but I just cannot see through this notion that he doesn't love her anymore.

The reason I feel he's so casual & happy with the idea is because it means keeping Sumo around him, and that's all he ever needed to be happy. Yes when asked about his love, and the way he said "haan" reflected heartbreak, the most important thing for Shravan was always just having her there for him, with him. He loves her unconditionally (in the TRUEST sense of the word), where he expects nothing from her. Rather than ruining the one thing that'll always keep them together for something he's convinced doesn't exist from her side, he's happy just being her friend and not forcing these feelings upon her.

Essentially, Shravan's reaction & whole "friendzoning" thing comes down to this:
