Hi guys, I am new here and somehow new to this show as well but as much as I have seen I am pretty much liking it a lot. When the promos of this show started to air I wasn't that interested, for it appeared another arrogant guy sweet girl story who were eventually destined to fall in love. But I have to admit much to my surprise this show is much more than that. And gladly so. Suman is so not the run of the mill hindi soap heroine. She is funny, independent and has a great sense of humor. She is not someone who makes things unnecessarily melo-dramatic. She is practical and understanding, not making issues out of petty things. She is bold, sassy and such a relatable girl. At the same time, I was absolutely surprised seeing Sharavan's character. He was not at all like the man we saw in promos. He is sweet, vulnerable and a man with a conscious. Someone who respects women and cares for people. Though like any other guys he seems lost sometimes, confused about what exactly he wants from his life, but again isnt that too so 'been there done that'?
I am amazed how the cvs of this show managed to bring out the friendship and bond of these two post they grew up...their scenes are such a breath of fresh air. The fights, the sarcastic taunts, the nok-jhoks, they are darn adorable dude 😳 And last but not the least, I must say both Mamik and Nikita are surprisingly good actors. Today Namik's breakdown act was a class apart. Wasnt expecting such realistic acting from a newbie.
As for the show, I am really glad now Shravan is not going anywhere, he can finally come in terms to his feelings for Sumo. I think Shravan is a kind of guy who is giving and extremely vulnerable at times. He doesnt understand that along with giving you sometimes need to access rights too. Sometimes you need to claim people and take authority of them. You need to decide where you want to take a relationship. Even with his father, he realised this only when he was at the verge of losing him. And in same way hopefully he will realise it when he will see a marriage alliance coming for Sumo. He might just know how much he needs her in his life. It seems like the whole thing might just bring to fore a new Shravan - someone who is more confident, more decisive and more sure of what he wants.
At the end I would just say I hope this journey continues like this and this show maintains its essence. I would love to see more bonding between the two friends. I want Shravan to realize that though he loved Sumo in his childhood but loving her now will be a totally different and one hell of an experience now that she has grown into tis one sexy amazing woman 😉
