Great post mahi...
Those who found this funny, i fail to understand, how can DEATH be funny for someone, how can an actor's near perfect portrayal of condition of a son who just heard the news o his fathers death be considered OTT.

Do we even know what efforts an actor takes to emote loss of a dear one.

I know if two such actors who emoted perfectly to deaths, and they explained how they were able to do that
Smriti Irani on mihir's death scene in KSBKBT, said she imagined how would she react if she lost her own husband
Anupam kher in "saransh", said he imagined all his struggle and toil when he cried in the movie for his son...

Namik's fall, i say was an extraordinary way to show how someone looses control over their body and senses when they loose a person as close as their father.. The feeling numbs them, the earth removes from under their feet.

In this respect, the epi was perfect.

Great and interesting turn to the story, looking forward to it like never before

To me precap is not at all ott..
It's very normal to give sedation at a time of shock...
I just cried with him throughout the 2nd part of epi..
1st part was also very emotional and sweet..
Cv's r just brilliant...

I feel u dear.. I have faced my fathers loss too, but have my mom.

I know how it feels to not being able to explain it to ppl, how loss of words you are when asked

A Big hug from me 🤗

Totally agree! The abuse isn't needed. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and u can't abuse them just cos they think differently to u. It's life and not everyone's going to have the same thoughts as u. As Shravan said "move on".

Thank you for this really thoughful and much needed post 👏👏👏
It is okay to look at the same episode with different perspectives.
It is okay not to agree over something. But making it vocal in a manner that can perceptually destroy the friendship vibes we all share on this forum is not.
I am new on this forum. There are a lot of people I dont know.
But I need to remain respectful whether I like some things they say or not because it is not harming my real life in doing so.
Have not watched the episode as yet, so would not comment on it, but I can say that it is not appropriate to demean someone intensionally or call them names.
We need to all strive to keep the integrity of this forum intact.
Peace Out! 👍🏼

exactly! so easy for people to sit behind their computers and call it OTT. instead of appreciating the work the actors are putting in! i think it was shot brilliantly and what are they looking for in the name of different? should he dance instead of being sad on his father's death. we all go through similar emotions in life. this is a love story so not different in terms of concept but diff in terms of execution yes

so true!! pls appreciate what they doing. episode was fab and sad at the same time... if ramnath sequence is there to make him realise his feelings for suman else this track is not req. so hope cvs heading that. Abt Namik and OTT he was at his best.. he was pretty natural and you are right if u have been through this situation then you will know else u wont realize. I have been through this. i lost my dad suddenly and the shock of losing someone unexpectedly is huge. What they showing is so real. calling doc giving him that injection to calm him down. To make him cry... ahhh i went to my flash back,, seriously u cant imagine the pain u go through

OTT? How can it be? Shravan si a family person. Who can leave his loved ones and go to London just to keep peace in family. His mom left them and he wen to london. His dad was everything.. and this and of sudden losses can result to lot of unexpected emotions.
I am glad that CV's gave an episode to perform to Namik.. he did a great job. Nikita had done great job in that visit too her old house episode.

For a minute I did not think it was OTT.. when you hear something like this.. you feel pain in heart... you do puke. I think they rote the scene.. very well than than stereo type.

About his fall i can exactly tell why they showed it..

He had sprain in his legs. when he was in all sense he was taking support and balancing.. in this state of shock he forgot about his pain and he just started walking without any precautions and therefore he suddenly fell down.. so correct as per the scene and situation.
