After watching the episode today and coming onto the forum, my mood compared to before coming online and after is vastly different. I just don't understand why our forum has become so negative. Yes, I understand and also respect different opinions, I have no qualms with that, but my frustration has to do with the lack of faith in our absolutely brilliant CV's and how at the drop of hat, people become so extremely negative.
Considering the fact that these CV's have CONSISTENTLY shown and proven to us that they are writing a story that defies the traditional Indian stereotype. We have characters who actually have dept, development, vulnerabilities, and also redeeming qualities that make them more humanistic. We have realistic relationships, realistic emotions, realistic conflicts, REALISTIC EVERYTHING MAN. Ek Duje Ke Vaaste is probably the first of it's kind, where we are lucky enough to have a team of individuals who actually give a shit about maintaining a logical, consistent story and not giving into the demand of TRP-driven shows (who have no concept, no logical and actual story development).

Honestly, today's episode was not bad enough to be given such a reaction. In the past, I have seen shows, shows that were insanely popular with no real story, no character development, no realism--NONE of the many brilliant qualities that EDKV has maintained from the very beginning of it's production.

I actually really liked the episode today. Yes, I would have loved to see a bit more of ShraMan, but I feel like the writers had a purpose for the way they showed their "last scenes". There is a reason. Nothing the writers do is for the sake of just doing it. Every scene has a purpose behind it. They are building towards something much grander and these are the scenes we should sit and appreciate before the true angst begins.

And speaking of pace, I actually don't feel like they are going to fast, especially in regards to that letter. One of the core concepts of the show, a fundamental component of not only the show, but their relationship will not just be thrown in there like that. And another point I feel I need to address is considering that the writers have never stretched their tracks before, I don't believe at all that they are rushing this letter either. The writers have put so much thought and effort into creating the significance of that letter, TRUST THE WRITERS to not ruin it in the future as well. They will do justice to the story, to the characters, to us and to themselves for all the hard work they have put into it.

Can we all appreciate our CV's and put just a bit more faith in them considering how EVERY DAY they have made us fall in love with them more? I fall a little bit more in love with this show every single day. Literally after every episode, I say ok this was amazing and then the next day comes and somehow they manage to top the brilliance from the previous day.

Can we please focus on the reason why we have fallen in love with this show and continue to do so everyday instead of falling into such a negative space about the show? I love this show too much to just be in an environment like that. Yes you may call it too much attachment blah blah but this show has come to mean a lot to me. And has a very special place in my heart, so to hear and see things like this when all I want to do is actually properly discuss the show is genuinely upsetting. We can all have frustrations and disappointments but can we not completely ignore the past effort and beautiful moments we have been given by the very same people?

Thank you all for reading this.

i loved the epiosde.. i just want cvs tp show if sharvan is hiding his love so he doesnt lose her or doing it intentially..they atleast need to show us whats going on his mind... by the looks we know he loves her but right now its just friends type. i hope 50th epi does something... suman will ask abt his first love i dont want him to hurt her further saying childhood crush and thats why he loved... i want something more realistic like ihe tell yes he loved her which obiously wont happen.. even if it does he will just say childhood crush i dont want that bcz she will get really hurt. they prolly show someone coming in when he is abt to tell. or show that either sumo keeps that letter and then sharvan finds it missing or she writes a reply for it and he reads later something... he really needs a reality check.. either that plane crash sequence to realize or something happens to sumo or someone else trying to come in her life.. The fear of losing someone will make him realize... I hope story moves...

brilliantly put! i absolutely loved the episode as this is what a normal person would have done. people are just expecting angst, long useless eye locks which this show doesnt offer. shravan has life and responsibilties beyond sumo - he can also stay back for his dad! love is part of one's life and not someone's entire life. they want him to do sumo jap 24x7 - same people who said they loved the show for its realism are bashing it for being real.
i personally dont even go to AT, might stop going there to read live updates now! i like to avoid negativity personally 😉

I completely loved the episode!! And I was only raising a discussion with regards to Shravan, hopefully my post didn't come out negative or anything. But YES cvs always do every thing with a purpose, nothing is just put in there! They pay attention to all the details so I am sure everything being shown, even in terms of Shravan has a good reason behind. Its just that we have been getting a lot of introspection from sumo and none from Shravan so it raises discussions. But thats a good thing, otherwise there wouldnt be any story. And I so agree how other shows which have no story or character development if we compare to EDKV, EDKV is a gem in front of them. So I am grateful for that and fully trust the cvs so I havent jumped to any assumptions.

Well Hallelujah for this post.I liked the episode well except for the PreeKar scenes.( Yesterday didn't find it interesting enough. ) So I was kinda surprised to see many dissatisfied with the epi.
Ok.I get it that sum wanted more focus on the play date..n wanted it to b emotional..plus they found editing issues. All have their own perspectives. I for one found the pacing apt & 'emotional' enough. The only editing issue I found was wen she got up to dance. & then I read that they had snipped off that part. I thought oh shucks, why did they leave that?
But keep aside the thought that sum botchup happened there n wen we view the scene, its as if Shravan was happy that she at least agreed to dance for him n stopped her from further embarrassment.

As for sum concerns abt why Shravan isn't 'feeling' as sad as Sumo..well he isn't going to outer space. I find it very relatable that he is going to London (albeit for the sake of family). As he said he would visit often..would defo keep in touch with her this time. All his thought process is cuz he believes her to b a friend. He hasn't realised the recent stirrings of her heart.

I have realised I need a break from the forum not cuz the forum is bad..just that I need to process my own thoughts abt the episodes before getting distracted by the diff opinions here..So it is gonna b lesser stalking for me..well at least till Mon :P

I enjoyed.yesterday's episode except.for the preekar scenes.. They could have edited out preekar scene and shown suman dancing... Preeti said she wants to be friends with pushkar like shraman then.why is.she hiding his calls from her mother... Pushkar hiding from kameeni.makes.sense but I dont think Maami.has a problem with her.being.friends with pushkar... Preekar are acting like gf-bf after meeting for 2-3 times... Honestly none of preeti's harkathe.are.cute...

Word🤗
I totally enjoyed it yesterday...
And the CVs have won my trust, it ain't dwindling now😳
I'm sure they will handle the letter with the required intensity and sensitivity. This letter is the centre of the story, I feel it's time that came into play...
Preekar I feel is a bit too rushed, but theek hai i'll let that pass...
Editing was a bit off yesterday, but the scenes were too cute, so discounted again..
Can't wait for today
