Yes, for those you asking for a post, I am back. I was just too lazy to make one, but was compelled to write one especially since the past 2 episodes have been so much about those little moments that just touch you, & make you feel for the characters. Take a bow EDKV, because its these little moments that bring the show to another level, & constantly engage the viewer. Powerful writing indeed!1. Karela scene - Despite hating the smell of karelas, Shravan didn't leave Suman's side, but was willing to leave his future wife if she loved them. Even though it was said in joke, there was so much meaning to this entire exchange. Shravan never imagined his future without Suman. His future wife, & basically the future didn't matter. What mattered was that moment & Suman, who he envisioned living with. In the present, he ate the karelas without hesitation & even enjoyed them. Despite Shravan having a greater sense of individuality to him (Shravan Malhotra does what he wants) & his physical changes, its interesting how his love for her remains unchanged. He's become everything he wasn't in the past, from his looks to his likes/dislikes. But his love is still as deep. There are more layers to his love now, esp with them having grown up & Shravan witnessing sides to her she kept locked up all these years. Yet, he follows her around blindly (as Indrani very rightly pointed out to me) & is as affected when Suman joking questions their friendship. He brightens up when she asks him to drop her to parlour because her clutch has broken, just like how he used to brighten up at the little moments of attention & praise Suman used to give him.2. ShraMan at the parlour - One of my favourite ShraMan moments this week. AHHH! His inability to leave her at the parlour & the way he gave in to his heart, came back for her & to her with a big bright smile. Reinforced the dialogue of the promo 'ek baar kaho toh sau baar ruk jaaon'. In the promo, this dialogue was said with a heavy heart & it was a very emotional scene, but in this scene it played out so innocently in such a light way. (Just like how bits of the promo scene played out in the terrace scene). Isn't it amazing how every little thing becomes so important when it comes to her?3. Shravan watching Pushkar & his family with a smile on his face - He was so excited to give Pushkar the pen, & it was heartbreaking to watch Shravan take a step back.. stand at the door, & watch them. Like an outsider. He was happy for them, but he wasn't happy with them. He has always been the onlooker/the outsider in the family, without whom the family can still function happily. Despite that lonely Shravan was happy for them rather than sad for his own loss. He may be very emotional, but in little moments like these, he displays so much maturity. Gifting the pen was another display of that. Usually we are very possessive about things that belong to us, but Shravan has constantly rose above superficiality to give importance to the emotions attached to people & things. Just like how it wasn't about the pen, but rather the emotions attached to it that he held on to, & was easily able to pass it on to Pushkar. Its the same with the court case, he returned for those memories & for what it meant to him & Suman, rather than the house per se. And he's going to do the same by choosing to leave, because those people in the house are precious to him, regardless of whether he is of any importance to them. He's so imperfectly perfect.4. Shravan & Pushkar's scene in the room - SUCH A POIGNANT SCENE & some beautiful writing there. Pushkar calling his mother's action as that of 'disruption' but Shravan calling it 'arranging' instead because Shravan's never had any qualms in taking a step backwards for family, while Pushkar looks at it as all for one, one for all. The rest of the conversation followed in this line of thought. Shravan saw that side to Kameeni she'd hidden for years. He was hurt. And he decided he would leave. It wasn't about being mahaan though he was sacrificing, rather Shravan realised that Kameeni was not wrong to protect her own cub. Somewhere Shravan was blinded & biased by his own sense of self-worth which has always been about taking a step back when it comes to the people he loves. He's like Ramnath; he will do all it takes to keep protecting the family, not realising that his own actions are actually breaking the family. He displayed the same when he gave Khosla the 6 crore cheque to leave the case, not realising that it wasn't about the house as much as it was about Priya's innocence. Pushkar on the other hand, didn't reason out Kameeni's actions, but rather looked at it objectively & termed her wrong. Pushkar may appear timid & lower his head in front of Ramnath & his mother, but that comes out of due respect. As an individual, he is very headstrong, independent & practical - something that Shravan appears to be, but is not. And its beautiful to see both brothers play off each other so well & love each other so much, despite these differences. They share a very heartwarming bond & I hope it always remains that way.I am looking forward to that one day, when Suman will be able to see beyond what Shravan expresses through his words/actions, to understanding what he doesn't express. And realising that, that is where his love for her lies & has been hidden all along. I wanted this process to happen without Suman finding Shravan's letter.. but let's see how it plays out.And I am also looking forward to see how the CVs warm us up to Preeti/Pushkar which are looking too forced at the moment.Do share your thoughts.Cheers,Samridhi

WORD, especially those bits in bold. The story telling & writing in this show is so earnest & realistic.Yes, I did notice the parallels. In fact they've always constantly drawn those parallels. Also, they've constantly emphasised how ShraMan are the only family to each other.. whether it was the Malhotras playing carrom, or celebrating Varun's success party, Shravan was never there & the family was perfectly happy without him. Rather he was always at Suman's place. They may not be related to by blood, but he's always found so much more comfort & peace in Suman's house with Suman. As a teenager too, all of ShraMan's scenes were in Suman's house where he spent most of the time after school.WORD on how Shravan's never gotten complete love, resulting him in becoming what he wants. Others don't give him the love, so he gives all the love he can to others by constantly putting others first. That way he manages to convince himself that he's happy & making others happy. He's a kindred spirit, indeed. Now I can see how Shravan's father's disappearance fits in (if it really happens in the show). His father's disappearance would be a breaking point for him, & it would be such a good way to drive home the point to Shravan that everything is not his power - he cannot always think that stepping back will keep the family happy. Sometimes you need to take tough decisions, step forward & be honest. Let's see how it plays out. Also did you notice how Shravan came running to Suman's house, looking for Suman with all the shit that happened. He looked so desperate in his need to FIRST speak to her, let it out & inform her of his decision before anyone else. I totally saw young Shravan in that scene running to tell Sumo that his mother has left him in that scene. DAMN how do the writers constantly do that? LIKE IT IS SO AMAZING HOW I CONSTANTLY SEE YOUNG SHRAMAN IN OLDER SHRAMAN. Trust me when I say this, no other show (across all fandoms, languages) has managed to create the kind of connect I have with the young leads & older leads. I am constantly amazed by how they are played by different people. THEY HAVE THE SAME CHARM.
History repeats itself - well almost.😛
Just like last time Shravan ran to Sumo this time too he did.
She was in the midst of friends last time and this time in the midst of family.
Last time friends looked at her suspiciously regarding the friendship
This time the family
Glad the similarity ended there.
Last time she turned him down
This time she stepped up and stepped out with him to discuss😆

Yes. I did notice. Sumo is like his hideout. And moreover, when he went to break the news to Sumo that he's going back it felt more like he had to tell her this so that he could make up his own mind for going back. It was not exactly a statement. He knew that Sumo will debate with him. Try to drive in some sense. And all her arguments will help him lead to a more rational decision. It will make his mind more clear that going back is the right decision (according to him). He was not completely sure of himself until then. But after he has let it all out to her he becomes more stubborn about his decision. As if he is developing a shield to fight the odds when he is fighting with Sumo. Going against her. Doing the opposite. It makes him that much more stronger and resilient. He depends on her for a myriad different reasons. And the younger Shravan and the Shravan now... They're as similar as they're dissimilar. Their similarity shows that he is still the same innocent teen who wore his heart on his sleeve. And the dissimilarities show how he has evolved to be what he is now. The transition is simply beautiful. The same goes for Sumo. They've matured beautifully.P.S: I love such meaningful and heart to heart discussions on the forum. Do continue making posts. It does result in so much positive and healthy forum activity. 🤗

Great post Samridhi.
Yes even I am waiting for that day when Suman will see through Shravan's facade to what he hides. The depth of his feelings. Right now she is doing what every girl in love does, trying to figure out if the guy she loves has feelings for her too. But in all these games she still did not realise that Shravan has passed all the tests. He passes, but not the way SHE thinks it should be. He stayed in the parlor but coz he got a facial, she thought he failed the test, but he stayed for her and instead of twiddling his thumbs, he actually used that time well. (Practical in that sense). What Suman needs to get is that there are many ways to pass a test, not just one way!@Rooh_5896:Yes "Introverts" and their feelings! Dont I know about it. It took my husband 3.5 years to tell me he loved me. But the fact was, he did almost from the time we first met. I was waiting for him to say it. (Coz we extroverts just love to hear words being spoken). But sometimes the deepest feelings defy expression. (Even we had a separation chapter where we lived in two countries, but we met again). That hesitation in Shravan reminds me of the introvert I married. I am so glad I saw past the wall and realized the meaning of the words he didnt say. He was the best choice I ever made in life, just like Shravan is the best choice Suman can ever make. Guys like Shravan make ideal life partners. They dont say a whole lot, but they are there for you when you need them! Nothing matters more!

OMG I completely agree with everything. Like you echoed my thoughts entirely!! I LOVED the parlour scene! I was kinda sad when he walked out of the parlour but the way he turned right around cuz his Sumo asked him and he couldn't help but give in! AHH THAT WAS LOVE <3 Like my heart skipped a beat at that moment, how much he cares for her😳 And then when he disappeared I almost thought it had been Sumo's dream and I felt sad again, but he was still there in the parlour! The way cvs play the scenes, keeping us at the edge of our seats, it's so unpredictable and in a good way! Parlour scene is one of my favs for sure❤️ I love how you mentioned it parallels with the promo, I didn't think of that till now but good eye!👏 Love how meaningful every Shraman scene is, no matter how small or big.
