Humesha.
The number of time I have heard this word and felt the depth of it.
Let's not get into that show or I might as well end up writing about it but yesterday Humesha was used here. I have nothing more to say except that the scene was just so beautiful.
"You take me for granted right now but the day I go away you are going to cry."
Young Shravan might not have said these words to young Suman but well his eyes did. She used to ignore that but now she doesn't because she had missed this friend. The daily meetings they once had had been replaced by an angst separation of ten long years. He was angry too and she was as well. Both of them knew it well that their actions in the past had jeopardize but was moving on from them so easy?
Sometimes in life we take things just because they are there and somewhere deep within the heart it knows they will be there. Always. Now when they met it seemed okay. But they wanted to heal the scars.
He wanted to forget the past, she wanted to apologize.
She wanted to redeem while he wanted to abolish it.
The two had missed each other a lot. All in these years the only thing they had done was waiting and missing. Why not? It was friendship that bonded them.
They say some friends come in a life for a reason while the others don't last a season. Yes, of course they definitely made friends still it felt empty.Because this partner in crime was missing who was more than just a companion.. Today when Shravan asked for that friendship he wanted the friend. He wanted Suman while she thought let's just make up to each other first.
As always let me quote Manik Malhotra here" The more we talk the more we discuss and the more fights are going to happen. Let it just be."
This was exactly what Shravan did in my opinion. It's not like he did not have things to tell her but deep down the both of them knew the more talking about past is going to be a blame game for each other about how the other was right or wrong. They did not want to spoil the situation they were in now. This awkward yet normal conversation was so much better and so much known than the angry silent faces the had some weeks back.It seemed connected to their souls and they could feel their childhood's innocence in this bond right now.
Handshake. Done
Talking. Done.
Flirting. Done
Moving On. Done
Amidst the moon in the subtle night they shook their hands and walked away from their past. The breeze sailed away the hatred they had for each other while the sound of the dark managed to repair the bond. It had scars but now these scars would heal too because the promises made this night were meant to last, Humesha. The handshake would be the bridge to connect them again and well a promise was made- to be friends. They did not know what he outcome would be or in which direction were they heading to. That was too much to be thought right now. They were rather enjoying and celebrating the reunion of two friends. There were a pang of emotions to be felt and lots more to say but they let go because that would happen eventually after all they are Ek Duje Ke vaaste.
Done.
Also let's take a moment to clap for the editing and the people responsible in making the set.It was so good.
