A bleeding heart and onlookers galore
But one person stood out...distinct from the crowd
He was the one least expected to...
He had nothing to gain
Everything to lose
His Name...His Repute...
The Family Legacy, included!
But he stood there
Silent
Stoic
Her pain was His!
As he saw her...
Dismantle
Disintegrate
Desolate
As she pushed him aside with all her might...
But this time something was different
Something had CHANGED!
He was no longer the 'baharwala'
She could NOT keep him at bay
As she lay devastated in his arms
With her hopes crumbled
Her spirit crushed
But her faith in him had risen
The trust restored
As he wished all her pain away
His truthfulness of intent was hard to miss
Even in her abyss
Sumo responded in the affirmative
As Shravan asked "Kya tumhe mujh par bharosa hai/?"
With that new found authority...
He proclaimed
"Main tumhe kabhi harne nahin doonga, Sumo!"
Even in her darkest hour
As Sumo's world crumbled...
There has been a new beginning
He's ONLY her childhood friend Shravan
The beauty being
NEITHER has realized it!
As Sumo picks up the pieces
Ravaged and Scarred from within
As she is unable to fathom
Which is the greater loss really...
A broken grit
OR
A failed daughter
It is that decade old memory
Of her friend, the 'Bhagoda'
Who is still staying put
With outreached hands
As Shravan teaches Sumo
The bigger picture...
"And the journey itself is home"
THANK YOU CVs
THANK YOU Shravan
THANK YOU Sumo
THANK YOU Namik
THANK YOU Nikita
EDKV is SPECIAL!
❤️
Cheers!
DocD
PS: Nikita was simply OUTSTANDING today...IMO, her best performance in EDKV till date; Namik provided her with the just the right measure of the ROCK-SOLID support she needed for those finer nuances to make the necessary impact in the last 5 minutes today!
Keep up the great work, you both
You guys are truly immortalizing ShraMan
It is a pleasure knowing you!
👏👏👏

Beautifully written, Dyotona. I am blown away by how awesome it is. 😃

I found the following words of yours (highlighted in blue) magical:

He was no longer the 'baharwala'
She could NOT keep him at bay
As she lay devastated in his arms
With her hopes crumbled
Her spirit crushed
But her faith in him had risen
The trust restored
As he wished all her pain away
That truthfulness of intent was hard to miss
Even in her abyss
Sumo responded in the affirmative
As Shravan asked "Kya tum mujh par vishwas karti ho?"
With that new found authority...

and

It is that decade old memory
Of her friend, the 'Bhagoda'
Who is still staying put
With outreached hands
As Shravan teaches Sumo
The bigger picture...
"And the journey itself is home"

Once again, marvelous piece of writing, 👏

Once again, marvelous piece of writing, 👏

And my absolutely WONDERFUL, simply AMAZING friend Zin is here!!😃
I hope you realize what a wide toothy grin you bring to my face, everytime "PlainJane" crops up
And mind it; it's got nothing to do with your effusive words of praise!😆
*A TIGHT BEAR HUG TO YOU*😃
Now coming to the post
Glad you liked it...I also experienced an inexplicable sense of bliss while putting it together
Was almost like ShraMan are teaching me a thing or two, on human relationships
All over again
It's almost surreal !
Have been actually meaning to write a lot on the progression in ShraMan's dynamic...especially after the absolutely ethereal Wednesday episode
Will try to put something together if I can manage to catch a repeat over the weekend
Anyway, you take care, my Dearie
Truckloads of Love,
Dyotona

What a surreal beauty to build the relationship journey from being Bhagoda to 'Tum Chaliye Jao Shravan. A new exploration of dynamism in every things and detailing. These two are relationship goals.
Never ever in my life, I have ever seen such a symbolic classic giving an edge to deeper meaning and hidden agenda!!!!

Thanks for your lovely brilliant post

Absolutely! And the beauty is, as Sumo pushes Shravan, he is shaken, but bounces back...like literally! What a beautiful metaphor to express how far these two have come...

Totally agree! Its beautiful! And for someone like me, who's like completely hooked on to understanding human relationships and emotions better, these two are really like some Ivy League B schools!😆

Hey! Thanks, Niara, for your kind words...
Loved reading your thoughts too...
Added my 2 cents above, in blue

Totally, spot on, you are about both Nikita and Namik!👍🏼
How beautifully they COMPLEMENT each other...in fact, COMPLETE each other as Shravan as Sumo!
A simple case in point...as both of them stood, shell-shocked and pained, listening to Mami's outburst...they were not even looking at each other, YET, were exactly on the same wavelength!
Now, THAT'S called CHEMISTRY!⭐️

Hey! Ri!!
Meri pyaari saheli!!😃
How have you been, my Dear?
As expected, you always add SO much to my posts...with that unique ability you have...its beautiful!👏
Shared my thoughts as well, upar, in blue
