So apparently the channel head confirmed it during its launch. There was interview with the channel head & CEO talking about the content, quality etc & confirming that its finite. Does this mean KRPAB is also finite? Because that show's moving at a rather slow pace from what I know, too slow to be finite.

And Amreen, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed. It's been an era since a Sony show's been this popular so they might take the finite tag off?

I just don't want there to be a day where there's no more ShraMan too look forward to, no more NiMik snapchats, no more discussions about the episode. At least not now.

I feel like it's possible to maintain quality & the set standard if the writers & CVs are like the ones we have now. For at least a year or two. Also I remember NiMik in some interview or something being asked a question and they answered with "[some answer] for the duration/lifetime, however long this show runs." So that convinced me it's not a finite show. Like I don't want it to be 10 years long or anything, I just want it to be long enough. You know? I've just fallen in love, not ready to fall out. And certainly not after just 130-150 episodes

No I agree with you but as a show goes on for more than a year, it does get more difficult to run it as well as when it started because usually indian shows are bogged down by changes to the creative team, like the directors, who don't share the same vision as the previous. Also production value is usually not as high as when they started out & that clearly results in a drop in quality. Long schedules cause actors also to fall sick, resulting in track changes.. I would be okay with extension if this show was pre-shot but it isn't.

Let's just not think about the end now because it is still far away. We never know they may extend it, or even if they don't the CVs may give us such a satisfying end, that all of us will be pleased & happy that it ended at the right time in the right way, with everything falling into place.

NAHIII , ye nahi ho sakta. Channel aur PH hamare saath itna bada atyachaar nahi kar sakte. Thinking about the show being 130-150 episodes long has already made me very sad. May be the channel has made an initial contract with the PH to air 130 episodes[manadatory, we know how sony tv pulls shows off air without the show hitting a century] and then extend the contract or terminate it based on the response to the show. I desperstely hope so.

As much as i know that the show maintains its quality and has a definite plot without deviating from it as it was planned before incorporation of the show, 130 epi is too short. I mean i want more and more of shravan. If the show is a finite show, I dont think we can have all our imaginary ShraMan scenes and also married life of of ShraMan. Probably then the show will end with our dear ShraMan getting married.

This is such an amazing show that I wouldn't mind it going long..can't accept that after 130-140 episodes SharMan won't be seen anymore leaving us carving for them 😭
But then I agree with Sam..usually shows running for long loose their essence and quality..so its good to have a better ending then a dragging one 😛
BUT dil hai Ki maanta hi nhi 🥺 😳

I wish they extend it little longer..don't want to get rid of EDKV so early.

Kriti I too just cannot think of a day when there will be no ShraMan to act as a stress buster to me after a long day!!!
I also hope that Sony does that... after all this a how is a hit among every age group... my mom also has become a huge fan of this while my dad was also appreciating Shravan's acting while watching the 1.30 pm repeat with me...
I really hope that at least this show runs upto 300 350 episodes...

Well abt KRPAB... I liked the first few episodes of that show but now the script seems too loose to me... as u know about the most popular blooper that we don't call a nutritionists as doctor... Other than that I am also finding Sonakshi's staying at his home all day n helping his family and such stuff looks cheesy n non relatable to me... n abt the pace... u r right!!
The pace is too slow...
Let's hope that EDKV runs runs and jeep running till infinity with its beautiful concept... 😊
