I am going to be so honest here. This is the first episode of EDKV that I didn't like. Regardless of whether the CVs handle this in a good way or not, I am not in for these kind of tracks where the third angle (Urvashi) is just misled & used for the purposes of getting the leads together & then easily dumped aside & made to leave or either made into a vamp, with the show proceeding on as though she never existed. Ramnath clearly looked shocked, but said nothing. And I thought this show was realistic.
Enough of my rant, on to the episode, which I have nothing much to say about because it was all in such bad taste. REALLY REALLY DISAPPOINTED. After such an emotional episode, we got an episode focusing on Urvashi & Suman's dance face-off? Seriously that was silly. Hopefully I'll have more to say tomorrow.
'Wahan dil nahin lag raha tha'
Such a beautiful line, encompassing all that Shravan was going through. The heartbreak from her act of giving him the necklace which she thought he would actually take, the pain at hurting her, her insensitivity & ability to move on happily while he's just left standing there. And so, he decided to move on as well. But before doing so, he threw it back at her that 'log aksar bure waqt mein saath chod dete hain' & the same way, he left her hand today, leaving her a nobody in that party.
Beautiful beautiful scene as Suman walked away in tears, while Shravan looked on. He does care, no matter how much he denies it, but that's not the way to go about showing your concern, Shravan, by calling her cheap & doing this engagement drama. He should know better about the consequences that one wrong decision could lead to. He experienced that a decade ago. Yes, Suman, don't look back & walk ahead, even if you know that you were not at fault & didn't leave him.
Another thing that has me majorly pissed off is Suman saying that she never left Shravan. Yes, we all knew there was more to her, but I would have liked it if it was more to do with her changing, growing up in those 10 years rather than something to do with the actual humiliation itself.
So now the CVs suddenly want to justify Suman's so called behaviour by blaming it on someone else & make her the FL who can do no wrong? Sorry but I hate that. I wish they would just leave the humiliation & flashback as it is without justifying it or adding a back story to it. Suman is worthy of redemption & forgiveness without that justification.
Cheers,
Samridhi
