I recently started watching this show and I am shocked by the way Suman's family behaves.
Agreed they are not the parents, but even after she tells them that some goons attacked her, her Maasi and Mami don't even offer to come with her to go and look for the money. After everything that happened Suman goes back alone at night in an auto.
Also look at the way she works for them in the morning.She takes care of them individually.
Sometimes I feel that the Mami is better than the Maasi because she at least hates Suman on the face and she is not afraid to show that she is money minded. The Maasi is double faced. Suman is supposed to be like a daughter to her.
Why does she have to live with them anyways ? I feel its contradictory to the way they are characterising her that she slaves for them and talks about self respect.If she has to payback her mother's loan she can live alone and pay them back, that is self respect. Or may be she and her grandfather can stay together. I feel the family aspect has just been added to make us pity Suman. If they want to show us a strong independent female lead they should not tag on this family burden just to make viewers sympathise with her.
