and regarding shravan whatever he does it ll hurt him more than her.. its like suman ll get hurt but shravan ll feel the pain but he wont show it.
i guess it just turned the love hate relationship way. kind of a dark love story. so lets c how it all turns up

u r bang on. Its always about their egos and pride..they both don't want to be vulnerable in front of the other..

At this rate when will we even get romance?

I think love is still far away..first they need to build back their friendship..I don't think Suman is in love with him yet,she wants to make up for her past mistakes and rebuild their friendship..
whereas Shravan is too consumed with anger to think about anything else...

Am very sure Suman doesn't know the whole scenario which made Shravan leave India and her alone. Because even in the flashback scene, it is shown that Suman is shouting that can he not hear? And also saying that when he comes back, she will make it correct. She is still not in the loop as to how it all panned out those ten years ago.
Shravan, of course, felt slighted, humiliated and pained at this so-called cruel behaviour of Sumo, his only friend. So there, he lived with the pain and changed his persona from the nerdy, affectionate boy to supremely charming, handsome hunk but unfortunately, stunted in emotional development. No wonder in trying to exact his pound of flesh from Sumo, he is not even caring about Urvashi. She might be the worst woman around but she still doesn't deserve this.
As soon as he comes to Sumo's house for the first time, Suman goes up to him and apologize but Shravan's confrontational behaviour puts her off. She says not a big deal!! But, these ten years have actually clawed the very fabric of her heartstrings, somewhere along she wants to revisit all those times that she spent with Shravan and make up for any past wrongs from her side.
Shravan, am not very sure he is an anti-hero, but he lacks emotional maturity. Sumo, for all her indiscretions is emotionally mature and has an openness of heart which is lacking in Shravan. Her big heartedness was made clear in yesterdays episode in her interaction with her cousin. She readily forgave her sister understanding she did it unknowingly.
Why to make her realize and actualize her pain? Why didnt Shravan speak out even after ten years of separation from Sumo? This is what is unacceptable to me.
Sumo's love, simplicity will be seen after this party and goon episode when she might help his sister (just a gut feeling). And also, I do feel Shravan's chachi did play a role in those incident ten years ago.

Shravan is not an anti hero. He is confused and misguided, actually.

If someone asked Shravan his idea of a perfect woman, I guess he'd go blank. A single term to describe him would be an MCP. That does not make him an anti hero.

He did it all intentionally. He did not feel for her falling ill ...he just wanted to make sure she didn't miss the party. Interestingly, it is not just Sumo he hates- he seems to look down on all women. He thinks they are weaklings who hang around a man's neck...and he despises the whole sex. I guess it all started with Sumo. So he needs to learn to respect women and in the process learn to appreciate Sumo. Until then, he will continue to 'use' women like he is using Urvashi...because he thinks all women are DESIGNING and deserve just that in return.

Even now, what fuels his revenge is the indignation that Sumo is behaving like every other woman trying to entrap him. He reads her eagerness to make up as an ugly desire to land a rich guy. So in his mind, he is just giving it back o her in her own language.

He reminds me of Arnav from Iss Pyaar in some ways (though personally speaking, and I am a HUGE fan of that show, I thought Arnav was a complete unredeemable asshole after a point and Shravan should certainly not be compared to him in that aspect).
This is mainly because in the beginning I was really conflicted about what his character was, if he was positive/negative and really was just baffled when he let go of her hand when she was falling from the first floor.

Soon enough I just realized he's a grey character, like real people are. Koi humesha hero/villain nahi hota, situation be depend karta hai. And I feel Shravan is the same.

And Shravan here has a lot of history, it's not like kahi se bhi nikal raha hai uska ghussa. It makes sense. Not condoning it but I can at least see what he might be feeling.

Shravan seems to be a lot more manipulative than Arnav was ... But ya I agree he is definitely a grey character.. Watching the promos as well as the character of sumo so far I feel that sumo's actions will change shravans attitude .. I think she will stand tall through the wardrobe malfunction as well as handle the goons situation well on her own showing shravan girls are not weak.. Initially her victories will irritate him but how his character grows to respect women for real and treat them as equal we have to wait and see...

yes he seems to have hatred towards all women in general and Sumo will definitely prove to him that she can handle things on her own,she is no damsel n distress waiting for her prince to rescue her..
