IMO, I don't really think not being able to fall out of love with someone/get over the hurt they caused you is really 'psycho'

I don't think its about the not being able to fall out of love, but rather the way he's been obsessed with her. And obsessing over the good memories, the rejection, & her & also the way he carried out the whole humiliation. Even though we know it affects him, he did look a little emotionless in some parts. Esp when she was crying at the end.
