Nope it's not just that, I have a lot of reasons. But yea that was definitely in my top 5 when I thought of not deciding to go into medicine.

Actually Suman is not realizing the love she have for Shravu.

She had taken their bond in a thing to admire, since it had always been her Nanu from childhood, Shravan came into her life as a relief for which she is thankful for.

Also she take that relation for granted because I guess from her prospective, if not him then who will understand her? For her he is another person who would had understood him more than anyone else but guess what? He failed to see her dependence on him and her need to understand her without her speaking a word.

Where as he had holded on her for too kuch. Its not always his part to understand her. For him Suman was a sigh of relief , a fun element where he could be the real shravu than the studious one. What she couldn't understand was, "is her reputation was way more important than Shravan?"

Both at time had gotten lonely and when got someone to care off, one took it to love at a younger age when both even being best friends didn't know each other by depth while one took it to long to get what actually she wants but then it was too late and then he left, she got to know his importance and that turned to admiration where she failed to recognize as love.
