That is something he would not be able to take especially when he had professed his love to her. It is ok if she does not love him... but to love someone else... that he would not have been able to digest.

Pushkar never mentions Shravan's love letter does he? I dont think that was found by anyone. The young impulsive Sumo would have decided to kiss a studd and ignore Shravan's letter. Some thing like this would seriously affect Shravan.

And if he is going to string Sumo along, make her have deeper feeligns for him, take her to the party and introduce Susheel Urmila as his gf/fiance the scenario seems similar to the past dont it?

After all Urmila is of his status and class and supposedly his equal and Sumo never considered him her equal in public at school. So this time around she gets rejected!

The flashbacks really never hinted love from Suman's love.. and I do not think that Shravan's absence was enough for Suman to fall in love with him. Definitely not in my opinion. At most, which I think is the case she might have realised that he was not just a friend. She relied on him and needed him for much more and that she was wrong in her behaviour towards him. Regarding Shravan's so called revenge..I hope it is not revenge like we are all speculating but let's say it is.. I completely agree with the latter point of yours. He is using revenge as an excuse to spend time with her, to get close to her, to try to get her to fall for him because he is not over that rejection. Esp with Shravan's heightened sense of ego now, where he thinks of himself as an eligible bachelor that no girl can resist, he cannot stand it that Suman still treats him like she treated him 10 years ago.

Regardless of what their feelings are for each other they definitely need to start afresh from friendship,,and slowly gradually progress into much more.

Short answer: I think Suman does love Shravan. It wasnt love like proper wala love in the past but he was always very important to her but it took him angrily leaving for her to realize that. But now I really do think she's in love, like proper wala love, but just yet has to realize it. I say this looking at the way he affects her, which is waaay more than any "friend" would. Like just look at the difference between her relationship with Pushkar and her relationship with Shravan. Pushkar inarguably is a very dear friend to Suman but there is a clear difference between her relationship with him and with Shravan, which btw was present even before Shravan came back and gave her the cold shoulder (seen when she makes a bahana to drop stuff off at the Malhotras to see Shravan, the way she catches her breath when Pushkar talks about her when she's in in his bathroom, the way she needed a moment when she was unexpectedly faced with him at her doorstep, etc.)

Coming to Shravan, he obviously loved her and still loves her. I believe his revenge is just his heartbreak getting to him, and that he mann hi mann is enjoying being the center of her attention in the process because he's never really been treated that way by her before, but no I don't think this is really his way of making her fall for him or anything, bechare to haar maan ke betha hai in that aspect 😆 If only he knew... he's faaar from a loser in that aspect.
