Hey Guys! I really appreciate those of you who liked my first FF on ShraMan, and went through my inane writing. This is the second part to the one I wrote earlier, called "Apologize." I would like to keep writing more on this adorable jodi, and would like to know any suggestions that you guys may have.
Change is inevitable. No matter how hard a person tries, time always succeeds in molding their personality into something different than what they were before. Despite that, time is never able to change a person's soul and individuality. There's always a part that remains the same and stays with the person all their life. Through the years, Suman had changed a lot. The situations and circumstances in her life had transformed a chirpy, happy-go-lucky girl into a pensive young woman, overburdened with responsibilities. She had forgotten how to live in the moment, but with the return of Shravan in her life, she felt as if someone had pressed the refresh button in her life. Unexpectedly, Suman's childish inner self had been unlocked. After a long time, she was feeling that she was finally being herself again. She had missed on a lot in these past 10 years, but now was the time to make up for it.
That day, she took off from work and taking her car went straight to Shravan's office. As she made her way towards Shravan's cabin, the receptionist stopped her midway.
Receptionist: Ma'am you can't go in. Sir is in a meeting right now.
Suman: It's okay, main bhi wahan jaa kar meeting ka hisa ban jaati hoon
Receptionist: But ma'am, you...
Suman: Tum shayad janti nahi ho ke tumhare Sir jo aaj itne bade lawyer hain, woh meri wajah se hain. Arguments karna mujh se hi to seekha hai is ne, warna bachpan main to aik number ka phattu tha ye. Trust me, mere wahan jaane se use kafi moral support mile ga, warna woh to clients ke samne ghabra jaata hoga. I'll go now!
The receptionist tries stopping Suman but in vain. Suman is too obstinate and quick for her. Promptly, she opened the door of his cabin, and saw him engaged in a deep conversation with his clients. Shravan instantly looked up, a bit surprised and slightly uncomfortable with Suman's sudden appearance at the door.
Suman: Hi Shravan!
Shravan: Suman, I'm in the middle of an important meeting right now, can we talk later?
Suman: Haan, haan, tum continue karo. Main yaheen wait karti hoon!
Suman puts her bag down and pulls over a chair to sit in. Shravan gives her a vexed stare. The clients take a look at Suman and then at Shravan.
Client: I think we should leave. We'll talk about the case later Mr. Malhotra.
Shravan: Mr. Dixit, I'm so sorry, main abhi ise bhejta hoon...
Client: No, it's fine. We'll talk later.
After the clients leave, Shravan angrily looks at Suman. She instantly regrets her decision of barging in there seeing the grave expressions on his face. She gets up from the chair, picking up her bag.
Suman: Dekho, Shravan, I'm sorry agar meri wajah se tumhein...
Shravan: Ritika! Come in here!
Shravan loudly calls out for her receptionist and she immediately comes in, a scared look on her face. But his face is rather calm and unperturbed as she looks at him.
Shravan: Maine buhut hi clear instructions dein thi ke mujhe koi bhi disturb na kare.
Receptionist: Sorry sir, par maie inhe rokne ki buhut koshish ki. Lekin ye ruki hi nahi. Yeh to yahan tak keh rahi thi ke ye aap ko yahan moral support dene ke liye aa rahi hain kyun ke aap buhut hi phattu hua karte the aur aap ko argue karna bhi inhon ne hi sikhaya hai.
Shravan (looking at Suman): Acha?
Suman sheepishly looks down, trying to avoid his eyes. Shravan tells his receptionist to leave and after she's gone, Suman immediately tries to follow her way out. Shravan quickly moves ahead, closing the door before she can walk out.
Shravan: Please wait! Apne teachers ke sath zyada se time spend karna chahiye so that you can learn more. Right, Ms. Suman? Aur kya sikhayein gi aap mujhe?
Suman: I'm really sorry Shravan, meri wajah se tumhe tumhari meeting cancel karni padi. Main to bas yahan tum se milne ayi thi. Inn 10 saalon main maine buhut miss kia tumhe so I thought we should spend some time together, and catch up on everything. But I think I should leave now.
Shravan: Yeh kia Sumo? Jab se mili ho sirf sorry hi kahe jaa rahi ho? (putting a strand of hair falling on her face behind her ears) Mujhe to shak ho raha hai ke tum Sumo hi ho ke nahi!
Suman: Woh kyun?
Shravan: Tum pehle jaisi nahi rahi! Sumo ki dictionary main Sorry wala page nonexistent tha. Aur tum sorry bolte thakti nahi ho. Lekin jab main tumhari looks ko daikhta hoon to mujhe yaqeen aa jata hai ke tum hi Sumo ho..
Suman: Aisa kya hai meri looks main?
Shravan: Tum abhi bhi dikhne main jhalli ho!
Suman: Main jhalli hoon?
Shravan: Haan!
Suman: Toh tum khud kya ho? Burj Khalifa ke bhanje!
Shravan: Tum kuch bhi kaho, jhalli to tum ho. Itna kharab make up, mismatched dressing, bikhre hue baal, sirf tumhare hi hosakte hain. Waise, itne saalon main tumhara sirf weight hi kam hua hai, par woh bhi kuch khas nahi. Bhookad log hamesha hi bhookad rehte hain
Suman: Dekh Shravan, you're crossing your limits now!
Shravan: Hamari dosti main kabhi bhi hadein nahi thi Suman.
Suman: Par tab hum dost the, aur abb..
Shravan: Aur aab?
Suman: Pata nahi...
