EDKV 2 - WU - E99 - Justice finally prevails

Epi begins with Shravan revealing to Vikram his true identity- he is Capt. Shravan Malhotra, son of Devraj Malhotra, who was charged with treason& although the Army had closed this case, but not Suman Tiwari. Shravan goes on to ask if Vikram still feels their friendship was bound to happen. V is left flabbergasted after listening to all this. Shravan tells him that he got to know about the details the day before & is about to take leave when Vikram stops him. Vikram tells Shravan that it doesn’t mater to him who is on the opposite side- he doesn’t know the result of the case but sympathizes with his friend’s (Shravan’s) situation. Shravan is shocked to see this side of V. V pleads Shravan not to break the friendship- Shravan is touched by this thought. V extends his hand for friendship & Shravan accepts it. V ki nazar padti hain on the blood on Shravan’s shirt & Shravan says it’s an old wound which is taking a long time to heal. V wishes Shravan all the best for the case & says that from his POV he’ll either win the case or the burden will finally be lifted-off of his friends’ father. V says that whoever will win, they will encourage and try to cheer up the other who has lost- Shravan agrees &leaves.

Tiwari House-

SuChan are discussing & wondering about Vikram-Shravan ki dosti & Kancha warns that if this time around, Shravan tries to interfere, then she won’t back down. Suman defends Shravan by saying that even if Shravan might say anything wrong, he will say it to their face, not back-biting anyone. She is just scared about the Mus that might erupt in V’s head.

V calls Suman & she puts on speaker- he asks about her health – he tells her that being her lawyer, he needs to tell her the truth- he confesses that Devraj Malhotra’s son Capt. Shravan Malhotra is his friend, Shravan himself informed him of this detail. V tells Suman that after knowing these details, Shravan came to his office to break their friendship so that there is no problem between V & Su- SuChan look surprised, though Suman is secretly happy about this- V tells her that he stopped Shravan from breaking their friendship- SuChan now get tensed- V asks Suman if everything is fine- Suman just somehow tallofies the situation yet again & cuts the call- Kancha asks Suman as to why hasn’t she told V about her past- Suman says V himself told her that he has no interest in her past & since the past doesn’t matter to her, hence she won’t mention anything.

Malhotra House-

Kavita tells Shravan that due to the verdict, Devraj has suffered from panic attacks & won’t be able to be there for the verdict. He tells her not to worry& be strong through this situation. He cuts the call & gets really angry at the Tiwaris.

VerdictMorning-
Suman talks to Vijay’s photo & says that – “aaj finally aapko insaaf milega aur phir mujhe Shravan ka chehra ab kabhi bhi dekhna nahi padega.” ; on the other hand, Shravan also walks down from his house & they both proceed towards the court.

At the court-

Suman gets to know that Devraj Malhotra has got panic attack & wants the verdict date to be postponed- she is against it as she feels kuch gadbad ho sakti hain- Shravan pleads to Suman but she doesn’t hear a word & taunts Shravan-Shravan-Devraj talk on the phone which is overheard by her & she feels sorry for him, but he back taunts at her saying that she shouldn’t be the one talking about justice because fighting for justice is different from fighting for ego;

SuVan are sitting across each other & they recall that fateful day- everyone is tensed about the results- Vikram comes out & tells Suman that they lost the case- 2 employees of Devraj’s company were found guilty but not Devraj Malhotra himself is guilty for this incident- Shravan just looks on at Suman- Suman is left devastated at this piece of information- V excuses himself & Shravan goes to Suman to tell her that he sympathizes with her & misses Vijay Sir greatly- he will always be sad on Vijay Sir’s passing- saying this he leaves, while Suman just sobs.
