Sumo deffo deserves to feel some of that yearning and pain that she's put Shravan through so Karma ka kuch element toh hona chahiye logically. I don't want to see any abla naaris either....na Sumo abla naari, na Sharavan abla naari.....this defeatist stuff gets irritating😆.....

Abhi toh I'm not even sure the writers want to redeem Sumo....we need to see her full range of reaction in the aftermath of this court verdict to get a sense of how she views things now.....whether she has accepted the verdict, whether she has finally started to get a sense of how much damage she's caused, especially to Shravan....jab tak woh pata nahin chalta theek se, can't say much.

Yeah I guess tomorrow's episode will put things in perspective so I am a bit on the edge too not trying to reach a conclusion but it sure did seem like she is unburdening herself and it might also have hit her that how she is one who really lost beyond this courtcase and how much in her stupid egotrip. Idk but that did feel more than sumo just being sad for losing the case. Lol maza toh tab aayega jab she would want shravan to come back again but he wouldn't and woh chipkali would come to console and then suman will be even more turned off caz it will be like shit I screwed this up bad. I still don't get how could sumo even think that shravan didn't respect her dad or family and wouldn't be sorry for their loss and that they was kinda mocking them or jaan bhijh ke do that to them when even through so much they have always been nice one and all and even if they wanted to harm toh bhi ladai jhagda and kisi ki jaan lena is totally different itna extreme and did she really felt ke sirf iske dad ki koi specific prototype mili thi to specifically harm him caz malhotras had a beaf with them. As you said this time she will finally break down and express her grief she will let go all that she was holding onto since that day she didn't gave herself a chance to grieve either she went bot only hard in others but herself too. Idk what she was expecting from this verdict in terms of closure and relief but this will eventually relieve her to of all the extra burden she was carrying for 7 yrs the hate and bitterness which she needs

Maybe she brings Tanvi back with her dad and family —- or does something.... she needs to a) Understand her role ; b) apologize - hopefully and c) make up for it. And I can understand that she may feel guilty and may come to a point where she thinks she may not deserve Shravan, but I hope also ki they dont make her completely “pathetic”.

@bold: I'll be honest....I'm VERY skeptical the writers will show her humbling herself to this extent....we've just seen a Sumo be so mindless and heartless for so many epis now, it's hard to believe any sense of remorse and guilt will be lasting in her....the fact that she dismissed Shravan's worth so callously in the blink of an eye....it just makes it very hard to believe she will ever understand his worth again.....frankly right now it's hard to believe she EVER understood his worth....it's so hard to reconcile this Sumo with the Sumo who once saw Shravan's goodness shine through with complete faith in him. This caricature that she's made up in her mind....how will she come out of it?

Oh yes, that was a good bit.

I keep forgetting to mention it, but the line that touched me the most in the last scene was the way Shravan said, "Kyun lagaa itna waqt mere Papa ko nyaay milne mein"?....it was like such a maasoom sawaal but so hard hitting....cuz they both knew the answer to it....Sumo looked a bit humbled in that bit too.

Oh yes... see its all these small touches. I have to say again, Kanika is getting better - but she cant emote too well with her eyes.

Word....and I think you mentioned this earlier also.....Shravan is able to literally repeat Suman's own line back to her but he ends up sounding softer than her "I understand your helplessness as a child"....she just has a way harsher tone in delivering her harsh words also. Shravan ke harshest words also get tempered by the fact that his tone is never as hurtful as hers. So tone matters a lot, I suppose 😆

Tone matters but also the intent. Shravan intent has not been to hurt her abhi bhi yes when he says harsher things then too it is just pointing the truths to her giving her a reality check being defensive not to intentionally being curt or rude while she toh teer chalati rahi hai and her only intention has been to hurt him so that plays a part too in all of this he just repeats whatever she says to him

LOL yeah, doesn't look like she did....that one moment at Vijay's funeral was enough for her to pass a judgement for a lifetime😕. Ah well, I'd given up that expectation a long time back that the writers will show any other detail for why Sumo pushed this so far....so I wasn't really surprised ki iska dimaag aisa hi kharaab hai us din se....logic/reason not needed😆. So yes, aaj judge sahab ki spoonfeeding ke baad hi kuch rage ke baadal clear ho rahe lagte hain.....spoonfeeding zindabad.

Spoonfeeding ke bina toh aajkal ki junta kuch samjhna hi nahi chahti they have all kept their brains in freezers too like Sumo and then the stupid brainless justifications come like sumo in blindness nonstop lol

Yes, her tears in the precap seem like they are about more than just losing the case....it gave the sense of a dam breaking and a lot of emotions flooding in after a long time. She has indeed suppressed a lot in 7 years and then the focus on the anger/revenge with the case....so now it's like a switch being flipped as the emotions come out and start getting processed.

I don't think she fully thought through what closure she will get with the verdict....but now that the verdict hasn't gone the way she expected, there has to be some introspection and that is what she seems to be doing with Kancha in the precap. She spent so much time fixating on supposedly getting rid of Shravan once and for all, now that he's won the case, I guess she doesn't know what to think.

As for what she thought of Shravan vis a vis his respect for her dad and family....lol I guess we will never get a clear answer cuz the writers keep it vague and then flip. Shravan never gave her any cause to doubt his regard for her father.....she was the one who blindly made presumptions about Devraj and then transposed them on Shravan. Even Devraj had never been disrespectful to her father in front of her....so this whole delusion that Suman has built up on her head of Malhotras being out to get her father or her family...it's just scapegoating. She has no idea what nonsense she is spouting without cause. Ek second mein kisi ke character pe itna badaa judgement pass kar dena when you've known the family for a while now....it's ridiculous.

Oh yes it had that old shravan ka ehsaas and w9hi masoomiyat but again MK did it so well it had that massomiyat but also the maturity that came with age and time it beautifully showed that he has matured but in some ways he still has the same masoom sawaal and thoughts that hit her on the spot it hurts and it was kind of needed today

@kaira it's not like KK cannot emote with ear eyw she girl has done such a marvelous job in that scene where she sees vijay's deadbolt and so many times before it's the fact that she isn't getting anything to perform how much one can try to do and repeat the same Karachi expressions and I also feel it has more to do with KK not connecting with sumo personally

Oh yes, intent matters for sure....but tone is what helps PRESENT your intent na....so they are interlinked in a sense.

Shravan ka intent has always been sincere....but the way he is able to deliver these hard hitting words in a softer/earnest tone is what makes it all the more effective. While in Sumo's case, maybe her intent might not be that harsh but her tone makes her sound harsher. I'm not saying she doesn't say things to hurt him....but I don't think she takes any particular pleasure in hurting him either....so when something she says hurts him, she's neither happy nor sad about it....but she also doesn't reflect on the degree of harshness in her tone and the lasting damage it can do....bas in the moment jo bhi bolna hai bol deti hai.

Shravan is the only character post leap that has the connect factor. MK does a good job too, portraying hurt, earnestness, humility and affability. Sumo has shown some vulnerability in past two episodes, where you can feel that even if she is being hurtful, she is being affected too. But everything goes down the drain when she starts making allegations with that tone of hers😆

LOL yeah, doesn't look like she did....that one moment at Vijay's funeral was enough for her to pass a judgement for a lifetime😕. Writers pe to bharosa bohot buri tarah su tut gaya hai, they will have to also work hard to gain that trust back🤣but I don’t think they are bothered😆 Sumo ka toh I am so scared, ke what she will think in her own head and flip everything as per her convenience. Isko sab bol ke batana padta hai, only then she understands, lol.

Also seems like Shravan showing grace in the face of the court verdict and still showing regard for her father also seemed to have softened her up a bit.....lol we are supposed to just accept that her brain magically wakes up when someone talks nicely about Vijay😆

Yes everything ends up at her father only😆 Even now she has not spared a thought for his dad , but hope the unraveling happens pretty soon! Her brain only works in spurts, baaki ke time it goes on strike 😆

That would be the best way to move the story forward, yes....but I don't trust the writers with Sumo anymore either😆.....I don't know how long they want to keep dragging out Sumo's ego trips and daily flips rather than giving her some of her old strength of character back again. It would definitely be a nice angle if Sumo feels the need to make amends and apologize to Shravan.....baby steps with trust and friendship again. But one can't really say if the writers want to show nice things anymore😆

If they just build on todays episode and move story from here in a logical way , it would be nice to watch. I really want old Sumo back, she had her flaws but as you said she had character strength to her. Please atleast now, let her see her own follies and take some positive actions for mending it, rather than moping or crushed under weight of guilt. But as you said I don’t trust these writers one bit, they could completely flip the next episode.
