These poor, innocent hearts

Oh man, such an emotional episode today....despite knowing what's coming our way, these kids manage to make the emotions hit so hard even before we manage to get to the big fallout.

I was really taken aback by Shravan today....is this really the same guy who only knew how to show off and fixate on shallow things in his life? How utterly humbled he is in love.....he barely hesitated before folding his hands in front of evil Daddu and pleading for his Chachu's sake....and the way he signaled Sumo not to intervene. Your heart just breaks for him in that scene as he is constantly berated by that Daddu, and even Vijay ended up being a disappointment there with how callously he treated Shravan.....poor Shravan was utterly isolated, lost....trying to salvage the utter mess in front of him, while still trying his darndest to protect his Sumo from everything.

Ek hota hai KEHNA that you will protect someone....Shravan DEMONSTRATED it to a whole other level today - willing to bear any insult, any hurt for the sake of shielding Sumo from it all.

I also liked that Sumo made a conscious effort to try to intervene and only stepped back when Shravan gave her his kasam....the look they both shared as Shravan led his Chachu away was so heartbreaking....you could literally feel the walls closing in on these poor kids bit by bit.

And then the phone call after this....Sumo feeling so upset that she wasn't able to do anything for Shravan...and that she had to see him pleading in front of anyone.....aur yeh Shravan *shaking my head*.....what is this guy, really....even after all that, his full focus was only on whether Sumo is ok, whether she's upset....the whole phone call had this back and forth where both of them were more upset about the other's pain/hurt....Shravan gets so fierce when he talks about how he can bear anything but he can't bear anyone pointing a finger at her if they suspected that she's with him now...and Sumo talking about how she always wants to see him with his head held high, never bowed in front of anyone.....oh these two kiddos....I really wanted to give them a hug today🤗

Shravan was so torn up himself but he so badly wanted to cheer up Sumo, that he swallowed his pain for her sake and tried to lift her spirits and give her some hope that they will figure out everything.....only after cutting the call did he share his despair with Bunty that things are just going from bad to worse.....poor Bunty also trying to give some hope to Shravan....but we all know it's going to get worse. Next morning, Shravan actually trying to go to class, simply because he can sense that Sumo is still upset and uska mann nahin maanega if he doesn't see her....aww

And then the very last scene as psycho Daddu bans Shravan from the class....and the long look Sumo-Shravan share as he watches from his terrace....you can feel both their pain so tangibly there....how ironic that Vijay was teaching about the "spirit of self sacrifice"....and worse, he noticed Sumo being distracted by Shravan there....so I guess he's going to get suspicious soon.

Then there was also the case of the invisible thappad....lol the thappad that everyone kept referencing in the whole epi but editor bhaiyya somehow conveniently edited out of the actual epi today😆...talk about a whopper of a glitch in the editing.

Devraj didn't care that Tiwaris called the police on his brother, he is more upset about the thappad? LOL ok then.....also was kind of pleasantly surprised that sober Chachu admitted his mistake and was trying to get Devraj to let it go for a bit....but I guess Devraj is in the mood to escalate things too. Also, I didn't get why no one bothered to clarify a simple thing that Vijay did try to call Devraj a bunch of times....Shravan toh waise hi seems to have gone mum with fear in front of his dad too.

Anyways, precap seems like a nice scene coming up tomorrow as these two lovebirds find a way to meet on her terrace....and I guess they will both end up sleeping there the whole night? 😆.....I wonder if they will get caught in the morning or Shravan will manage to escape somehow....haha

I wonder if even Tiwari has a seedhi in their court yard? How did he get up there?

What an awful episode yaar! I still cant get over the fact that these two managed to make us feel for them on the very first day of this PariWar!

Devraj telling Shravan off because he allowed BB to demeaned Chachu was totally off... I never expected that from him..

And he is upset because his 20 yrs old friend cum neighbour slapped his drunkard brother who could have killed anyone or injured himself?

Really is what he was supposed to be angry about?

Things gonna get worst and in between we get some soothing scene between these two kiddo until papa passes away..

It's starting its happening even i didn't think I'd feel this bad for them but job well done by the cv's for pulling of the emotional drama so well on the very first day I am so blown by the focus on the emotional part of it and not going overboard yet giving us pangs in heart. Dil actually main dukha aaj at so many moments and just wanted to reach out and hug these kids

First of all bechara shravan aise haath jodta and paer pakadta bilkul acha nahi laga mujhe bhi sumo ki tarah but it was oh so touching to see him putting his best foot forward to diffuse the situation but aaj koi uski sunane ke mood main tha nahi am so disappointed by vijay and his cold behavior when shravan asked him for help really you can't stop your extra dad when bechara shravan apologized nonnstop. Loved the way he stopped suman by giving kasam again something that could be so cheesy but it was done in such a natural flow i loved the look exchanges throughout and the palpable pain in those look exchanges . Thappad was edited and I got serious doubt on my seeing abilities ke main andhi ho gayi shayad😆 But I do feel yeh mistake nahi tha it's one of those random policies ke thappad nahi dikha sakte on some channels in some territories intehayi lame when they show much more on TV on other channels still i was super surprised ke chacha actually admitted his mistake later on but devraj ka behavior was torally pong ponging too and so weird what did he wanted sharavan to do exactly when he daant lagaaoed ke usne kuch kia.

The phone bit info was casually missed out so misunderstanding can be elongated sigh i was like bolo koi toh bolo kuch toh bolo he did try to call.

Now to the phonecall main it tore my heart shravan ka tum kyon sorry bol rahi ho💘 seedha dil ko laga he was such a joy to watch in that scene mohit was brilliant in switching his tone and going through various emotions in here dangling between hope/disappointment/helplessness bechare ko kuch samjh nahi aa rahi thi yet he had to be the brave one suman ko bhi samjhana the tears trickling down his face constantly were adding to my feeling bad and wanting to hug him. He knew very well ke milna itna aasan nahi hoga and suman immediately got super bothered and upset and he tried to cheer ke sirff aaj. His bechaini could be felt. Suman on the other hand drowning in her own guilty conscience ke woh kuch mahi kar paayi and shravan ko itna jhukna pada jo usse bilkul acha nahi laga feeling bad for him trying to help him console him but also feeling super helpless and confused ke hua kya and baat ek dum kahan se kahan pohnch gayi hanging onto shravan for some hope and tassali aww my babies🤗🤗 I loved it so much that I watched it thrice already.again brilliant job by making them communicate in mid of all this too yeh choti choti baatein are elevating them so much and making their place so much stronger in my heart

The later scene kitni mushkil se bacha jaa raha tha and papa crushed his meeting suman dreams so brutally again I appreciate how he was throughout trying to diffuse situation on all fronts dil dukha dia and chu lia bachon ne

The last long lost look the sniffles the longing and yearning the confusion and dard in sumo ki aankhein again when daddu gave his verdict ahh i can't with so much I need to see them happy again yeh rote huye bilkul ache nahi lagte I mean ache lagte haij caz theh do jt so well but phir bhi bilkul ache nahi lagte. Full marks to mohit and kannika for bringing that rollercoaster of emotions so well and managing to convey so much worh their face and eyes aaj kal rarely koi itni perfectly itna sab kuch handle karta hai with so much class and subtlety

Word to the bold especially.....I'm honestly a bit surprised at how well the emotional build up is being executed and these kids are managing to form a deeper connect with us.....inko rote huye dekhte ofcourse bura lagta hai, but at the same time, this is solidifying their story so well that it's making the emotional payoff stronger.

As you said, aaj every set of glances exchanged between them had such palpable emotion that you really felt for both characters and the maasoomiyat in their pyar.....it doesn't feel cliched somehow even though it's so innocent.....the way Sumo looked so devastated yeh soch ke ki aage phir kabhi nahin mil paayenge because of their families and Shravan had to calm her down ki bas ek din ki baat hai. Ofcourse as the audience, we watch this and think ki these poor kids have no idea ki ab toh aage 7 years ke liye nahin mil paayenge.....but even then, I'm finding their emotional connect quite touching right now and in many ways it's making me look forward to how it will be transitioned into the post leap space.

We all knew the basic story as per the initial promos....but I guess what we didn't think was the level to which the emotional connect will get established.....today, they didn't even need to say the "EDKV" lines to each other and you could palpably feel how much they live for each other - each thinking more about the other's pain and state of mind....that is why the emotional impact of the scenes was stronger today.

Mohit definitely deserves a special mention, especially for the phone call scene where Shravan was trying to hide his tears and cheer up his Sumo....there was such a mix of maasoomiyat and fierce love in him.....he's got his own version of "main sab theek kar dunga"....aww yaar😆.....he's hardly in a position of authority to do much but he still tries so hard to protect the ones he loves....you can't help but be touched by this side of Shravan.....and the innocent faith that Sumo has developed in him too....the way she was waiting and hoping ki Shravan ne bola hai woh aane ki koshish karega toh zaroor aayega. Bahut hi pyaare thhe dono bacche aaj.❤️

I found Devraj's reactions to be excessive too.....he was behaving like a typical egotistic man who loses his mind if anyone touches his family. Even after knowing his brother was driving drunk, his focus was more on a slap....it definitely looked quite ridiculous.

Every little "goodbye/seperation" they have shows how much they already palpably yearn for each other.....jab abhi se yeh haal hai, pata nahin 7 years ka seperation kaise handle karenge.

BB totally took faida of this situation even though he wasnt even injured so big...shravan used to look up to him and today vijay didnt do much to control the situation...looked guilty but remained mum😔...suman was the only one who attempted to stop him from begging before shravan told her not to do so ...poor shravan had to tolerate the whole drama due to the stupidity of rajendra and the unnecessary bhashan of BB..suman felt so guilty throughout the incident & i think she felt upset too that shravan stopped her for the sake of their relationship

Word! I was amazed at how naturally their emotions flowed today....you could really feel for each emotion they were going through precisely cuz they enacted it so naturally. And that sense of not being able to live without each other also came through palpably.
