Yes, I don't expect Suman to take this lie from Shravan lightly either. She will likely feel betrayed that after her genuine attempt to be a loyal and good friend to him, he was still doing all this. Basically he set himself up for this so there has to be some price to pay....remains to be seen how he tries to manaao Sumo after this.

Also, there is the issue of trust. Sumo had just started to trust Shravan genuinely as a friend and learning about this will likely shake her trust in him again. Now I think even if Shravan tries to genuinely tell her about his feelings, she won't believe him and think he's just lying casually to pataao her just like he did with Devika. LOL this is how Shravan may realize that lying all the time ultimately makes people lose faith in you even when you tell the truth.

Sumo is already somewhat falling for him but she doesn't realize it yet. In terms of realization, I think her realization may come later. Right now, she's just in the process of softening towards Shravan and if his lies didn't get revealed, maybe she would have reached the point of realization about her feelings for him.

This is phase 1 of the test of their trust before they both fall in love and become a couple I think. The resolution of this issue will ultimately pave the way for both of them to realize the depth of their feelings. Right now, Sumo will likely just think that he was treating her casually like other girls just to prop up his image. Shravan is not really at the point of confessing love either....he just wants to explore his current feelings for Sumo....but she won't even believe him on that much cuz of his lies about her.

The fallout with the parents etc. will come later I think and will be the ultimate blowout that will drive them apart, setting up phase 2 of the angst once they are in the Army.

Sumo is his peace in this chaos at the moment that he created for himself without realizing..and IMO he has just started to scratch the surface in terms of what he actually feels for her.....proper realization should certainly take time and only after he faces the reality ...story wise nothing can effectively happen until the whole truth comes out ...it's a start...he is learning ....liked the fact that they fell into a comfortable zone of communication...finally what I was waiting for

About the games/lies he has been playing - this is how he lived so far..and this is how it worked for him since nobody really ever confronted him seriously. Even his Chacha lies happily to avoid "problems" 😆 - I know he means well, sort of white lie for him probably, but that is how kids pick up bad habits. His mom is totally clueless about almost everything about him, daddy Malhotra tries to set him straight from time to time (which is hilarious no doubt😆) but hardly takes any strict action - this is almost a wonder that Shravan is still basically a good guy - spoilt , naughty, mischievous yes but certainly not a bad guy by definition. So basically he lacks proper motivation to achieve anything in life and clueless about the price one may need to pay. That is why the upcoming conflict /fiasco or whatever they are planning is so needed for him to get a taste of reality.

And thank you for putting it so beautifully in bold 👍🏼.....that sums it up perfectly. Sumo is indeed a source of peace in this chaos that he keeps creating for himself. She has unexpectedly become an emotional anchor for him without him realizing it. He grumbles that she irritates him, bosses him around....but it is invariably a smile from her that makes him feel like he's floating in the air😆. The idiot that he is, he is yet to realize why it is so.

As you said, this current phase is just him scratching the surface of what he feels for her....there is a lot more depth to this than either of them realize right now. Shravan is experiencing the first high right now....it will be tested by the fallout of his lies but it will ultimately strengthen into something more meaningful as he’s realizing the depth of his feelings for Sumo. For now, he's simply enamored by this feeling that she described to him cuz he's never experienced this before with any girl....a sense of peace and homecoming. Since Sumo is evoking that in him, he is feeling more drawn to her.

And I also agree with you about the fact that it's quite amazing that Shravan has still grown up to be essentially a good hearted boy despite a lack of proper focus and discipline in his life. No one has really managed to get through to him until Suman....lol....it is no wonder that he himself is in awe of the good qualities she's pulling out of him that he himself didn't always realize he was capable of....lol....things like patience, regard for others ke feelings.....Sumo is the catalyst for all this in him otherwise he took most things casually.

Not only Shravan, technically speaking, after daily Devika onslaught I think Sumo is the peace for everyone watching the show😆. A little mention here - they both smile so beautifully naa, khulke...like ray of sunshine.

They are going slightly overboard with Devika's kaarnama (entertaining ofcourse but borderline nutcase as of yesterday IMO, aaj ka have to watch 😛) but the actress is doing a decent job overall.

Shravan's self assessment was quite on point, he is indeed a dhakkan 😆...discovering himself through Sumo and falling for her in the process, as you said, she is the catalyst/emotional anchor (I like it👍🏼). We have been given hints in the beginning that he has quite a bit of those desired qualities, but needs a push, hard enough to enable him to do something significant. That is why I am kinda excited to see the transformation as there is ample scope for a very interesting story line...personally and professionally...especially if he is to join Army.

Totally agree! They both have very sweet smiles.....as you said, ekdum khul ke, dil se smile karte hain....it's actually reflective of the fact that they are both essentially saaf-dil characters....the purity reflects in their smiles.

Yes, Shravan definitely needs a big push to get perspective in life and I think the story will get more interesting from that point on.

I do like that the show is showing us the whole background and build up of this school phase in their life, laying out the actual strong basis of how they fall in love before they switch gears to the more mature/angsty Army phase. As you said, story has good scope in it. Let's hope the team can live up to it😆

As for Devika....LOL she was annoying me more some weeks back....now toh I'm just enjoying how tortured Shravan is cuz she's a solid dose of KARMA for him. Yes her character is deffo extra crazy and OTT now but the scenes with Shravan's parents yesterday and the face Shravan makes each time he gets 10 missed calls/messages from her just crack me up🤣

That missed call part at the end was extra hilarious because Shravan thought it actually worked - Sumo's formula after all 🤣

If I had to say it any differently, Sumo has become Shravan's reason to believe; in goodwill, in honesty, in hardwork and all the other morals of this world he never thought he needed to attain in the first place😊

@bold: Very nicely put👍🏼. Sumo is indeed the first person he's put so much faith in in his life.

While his emotion for her is pure, it still needs to mature into something deeper. Today's epi again showed how Shravan's approach is mostly childish as he moons after her all day😆.....anything she says impresses him, including her debate speech😆. And the way he got disappointed when she said he isn't that special a friend to her😆......he's still approaching this mostly like a pouty ziddi child. There's some growing up to do.

Right now the story is running from his perspective.....Sumo's perspective is shown more subtly. She gets conscious if someone tries to link her up with Shravan and she tries to go out of her way to downplay his importance in her life then. This was obvious in today's scene with Devika. But when she's with Shravan, she is more her relaxed self, expressing whatever she feels.

LOL@ the precap where he got so happy cuz she said she'd feel more comfortable if he came with her to Anish's party😆

This party is getting a lot of build up....lol I hope the makers manage it well cuz it seems like it will be a turning point.
