Tejal kept pacing up and down in Phorams room, "will you stop pacing up and down the room?? Am feeling giddy here" said Phoram in an complaining tone "Phoram, your munching that double cheese pizza there and your saying your feeling giddy" said an annoyed Tejal, "just chill okay.. am sure nothing will go wrong, our project will be the best in the class.. dont worry " "Phoram, damn you... am least bothered about that dumb project of our class" said an annoyed Tejal. Phoram leaves teh bed and goes towards Tejal, placing a hand over her shoulder says "Tejal, please calm down.. i know Aniket and his family are coming to meet you in the evening, but its all because you have agreed to meet them, rather Aniket... Btw, how does he look.. tall, dark and handsome???" Tejal pushes of her hand and says "i dont know how he looks... and Btw what have I got to do with his looks??? I dont want to marry him" "even if he isnt tall, dark and handsome??" Tejal goes to the bed picks up the cushion and throwing it towards Phoram says "shupt up will you..." "that hurts" Phoram complaint "good for you" said Tejal laughing and started munching on the double burst cheese pizza and continued with their class project.
Aniket and Shashwat were sitting and playing video game "Aniket, this time am going to beat you" said Shashwat "well, Shashwat, let me remind you that beating Aniket Mazumdaar in any kind off video games aint easy at all ... and here you go... see you lost again" "thats unfair, totally... you every time" said Shaswat "well, am the Mr. Aniket Mazumdaar, beating me in video games not possible dude ... but you keep trying, afterall try try till you suceed". Shashwat got up and brought coffee mugs for both of them, sitting on the bed he said "Aniket Mazumdaar, so you are meeting Tejal Mehta, huhh??" Aniket sighed deeply and said "yes, I am" "how does she look?? have you seen her photograph??" "yes, its there in my lappy bag, get it " Shashwat takes out the photograph and says "Aniket, she looks pretty good yaa .." "yes, i know.." Aniket said. Shashwat goes towards him and says "hmm.. Aniket are you sure you dont marry her??" "why you want to know??" "i like her yaa... i wouldnt mind marrying her at all... i mean hear this Mrs. Tejal Shashwat Patel... how does it sound???" "You seriously wnat to know how it sounds??" "certainly" "well, it sounds horrible" Shashwat elbows Aniket hard hearing this. Shashwat in a serious tone says "Aniket, what if Tejal accepts to marry you??" Aniket getting a little tensed says "Well, thats what bothering me yaa ..." "the solution to the entire scenario is that you should go and tell your family about ... " "I need some time Shashwat" Aniket stopped Shashwat saying this "how much more time do you need??? Its already been a year now" said shashwat "I know that, but still... il have to talk to bhabhi first about it" Aniket said "you better do that soon" "i will" and with this Aniket and Shashwat continued playing their video games.
Finally, evening crept in. The Mehta House was buzzing and the aroma of the delicious delicacies was spreading around the entire house. Tejal was getting ready in her room, Vimala and Gulabchand were anxiously waiting for the Mazumdaars to arrive. The clock struck 7pm and with it the door rang, Vimala hurriedly went and opened the door, soon Gulabchand joined her and they both welcomed the Mazumdaars in their house warmly. Afetr helping them settle down and getting a little comfortable with each other, Vimala said "Il get Tejal down, she is up in her room" and everyone agreed to her. "Aniket beta, have these kachooris, you havent had anything as yet" said Gulabchand "uncle, please dont bother.. i have already had enough.. if il eat anything more, my stomach will burst.." all giggled when Aniket said this, "how will he be hungry ??? Afterall, he is all wanting to meet Tejal.. after he meets Tejal, am sure he'l feel hungry " said Binoy, where others giggled again, Aniket slightly blushed and felt embarassed. Both famliles were getting along well. Aniket was hardly involved in the talks and kept patrolling the entire hall.
Anikets attention was caught when he heard the tingling sound of teh payals, and he looked up in the direction from where it came and was awestruck seeing Tejal wearing a turquoise saree , her thick and long black hair left opened and settled on her left shoulder, graze lowered to the ground, slight blush on her cheeks, a smile playing on her lips which completed her elegant feminine features. Susheela noticed Aniket and whispered to him "what happened Aniket bhai??" coming back to reality Aniket felt more embarrassed and said "nothing at all bhabhi", and Susheela gave him a knowing look and he tactfully avoided it. Meanwhile, Tejal had noticed Anikets glances on her, but she avoided looking at him. Sanyukata was very much impressed with Tejal and her elegance, she served everyone with tea including Aniket, unknowingly his fingers brushed hers hwilst taking the cup from her and she looked at him, this was the first time when their eyes met and an unknown blush spread over their respective faces, but they soon avoided looking at each other after coming back to reality and the conversations between the families continues, Sanyukta notices the aloofness of Tejal and Aniket from the conversation and says "Vimalaji, if you dont mind.. then can AniJal go and talk in privacy?? Afterall, they have to get to know each other" Vimala sees Gulabchand and he signals her a yes and Vimala says "jii.. Sanyukta jii... Tejal, you and Aniket go to the garden area and have some talk" to which AniJal agree and they go to the garden area, Tejal couldnt manage handling the saree and the coffee tray, so Aniket takes the tray and follows her to the garden area.
