I'm not liking sushla

... i have been watching the serial on and off ... but i can't seem to warm up to sushila ... The comedy i get is supposed to be a bit loud, the situations are funny enough, the dialogues are good in most part ... i think its the actress ... she has no comic timing ... comedy is the hardest to pull off and not everyone can do it ... i have seen this actress in another serial before - i think it was a serious serial on reservations ... and she was pretty good in it ... here i am just finding her irritating


The actress playing sanyunkta on the other hand is beyond fabulous ... what expressions, what control over body language and nuances ... drama or comedy, she does it fabulously ... but then she has been around for many years i believe so a comparison is unfair i guess. but because they both have so many scenes together, sushila's looks even more weak in comparison ...


I would have liked this serial a lot better had they got the casting right ... this is the same team that made sarabhai and baa,bahu & baby ... and i feel they would really be rocking the charts if there was someone who was much better at comedy as the lead heroine ... she just isn't working for me.

Sorry. I dont want to offend you or anything. But I actually really like the actress playing Sushila. I find her funny and really cute. In yesterday's show I saw her playing a more emotional side too, and thought she did a great job. Her character itself is so innocent - I think she portrays the innocence beautifully. Thats just my opinion though.

Bips, I agree with you. I just can't warm to her. In my case I think it's the character rather than the actress who I find unlikable.

ME TOO... i also didnt like sushila this whole time.. her expressions doesnt work.. some times i can decide if it is a comdey scene or serious.. with sushila... but she is also good sometimes..not always though.

My views is that Sushila is doing ok , Pariva has been appropriately casted and she is playing the role as she is supposed to -- over the top ,coz that is what Sushila is.
But issue I have is with Meenaxi of BBB playing a saas and a mother to 30 year old and wife to Rajeev Mehta(Mota bhai of BBB).when I look at her with Motabhai , I cannot stop thinking that Motabhai was her brother in BBB and now they are husband and wife here.And she does not look at all that she could be a mother to A 30 YEAR old. But she is a superb actress and she might grow up on us.

My favorite is Actor who is playing Binay( SUshila's husband) .He really gives Killer expressions . ANiket is good too .I see shades of Gattu in Aniket at times.

I really think that they have miscasted Forum and Shashwat .. Actress who is playing Forum does not have much screen presence and timing needed for comedy and same goes for Shashwat .. When I see Forum on the screen , I keep imagining that Baby of BBB would have been so good for rule.For the complex relationships they are showing on screen , they should have casted real actors who could carry them off.

Lastly the Baa character is not that loveable , it is just not working.

The thing with BBB was that every role was perfectly casted , They created those roles and put all their heart in that But in this show , Hatsoff did not put as much heart as they did in BBB.and how can they , when you have three other shows running on channels , you cannot give a show the complete attention it deserves .

Mrs Tendulkar was treated the same .It was like they casted extras in various roles.

Maybe Hatsoff should concentrate on creating one show at a time rather than putting their hands everywhere else. Only then , they have a chance to create another classic like BBB.

Yeah she is sooo loud. Always the same acting. I have a headache when I watch her.
