Only a mother would do as much.It s known a mother will do anything to make her child happy. Question is will she lose her power to discriminate between what's beneficial and harmful for her child too? If that happens she will fail miserably at the tough role of mothering and nurture. Madhvi clearly believes in taking on Vyom's crimes upon her shoulders, bravely fight the cause of a mother,who's ready to put her neck on the line ,to save her sinful son Vyom from the stocks! To sound real, she lies, manipulates all stated evidence from Vyom to herself. Comic relief in a scene overloaded with over acting comes, when Vyom himself mocks his mother's oscar worthy performance... how effortlessly she conceals the real truth.
It now stands as Madhvi's word against Sharanya's! Not a chance,bemused Vyom rolls his eyes..In the scene ,it s with disgust Madhvi reduces Sharanya,into a desirable object her son wanted,but she fails to reward her son with it ! Madhvi falls short to grasp that Sharanya is no object of interest but a human being with real emotions,whose heart was already set on a man chosen by her free will i.e Shiv. Sharanya is baffled by the justifications, Madhvi boasts about. Madhvi snubs her, she wouldn't understand a mother's logic! since she Sharanya isn't a mother! To me she marginalizes Sharanya!
Rati too proves her emotional cowardice. Instead of hating Madhvi for killing Vidyut,she ,appears subservient to her older SIL! I think Rati opts to chose a life of comfort and luxury ,both for hesrself and Avni. Madhvi on the other hand rallies support for herself and her so called criminality,to shift focus off Vyom. Mind you, it 's not just Vyom Madhvi covers up for. Where ever Rajan seems implicated , e.g in Freddy's hospitalization, she confesses, that she has clout in the insitution and the place goes by her dictates. So literally one by one, Madhvi turns Sharanya's collected evidence against Vyom as sham! and validates them as being the guilty one. All believe it except Shiv he can tell Vyom is using his mother as his vantage point . Vyom is devious, and stops at nothing to get what he wants..
First parting scene.Mother and son. Madhvi ensures Vyom carries no guilty baggage of her being taken in by the police. She is merely doing the duty of a mother. One thing worthwhile she says to Vyom is literally to get on with life without Sharanya. Not every one gets to fulfill what they desire for, in this life. But Vyom, dismisses her words of wisdom aside. He does his own thing, makes his own destiny,even if it means, removing human hurdles!
The darkness is virtualy over and done with. In daylight Madhvi is charged, arrested and Vyom set free. Some amatuer dramatics from him before all, to seem credible. Vyom almost gets away ,but not quite! when Rajan watches Madhvi being driven away in a police van. Shiv s suspicion that Madhvi is innocent, is given support by Rajan s furious attack on Vyom. The boss of the household is back and ready to deal with his liar,cheat, dupster son. Rajan drags Vyom to thrash Madhvi being criminally implied instead of Vyom. Shiv uses his preogative of being a fly on the wall. Much to his amusement Vyom, as usual lies through his teeth and pretty much blames his mother for taking all his sins. Just how will Madhvi return home after three days?? Another ill fitted action is when Sharanya barges into the room and speaks in Vyom's favour.. pity now Rajan too, gives Sharanya the look its all because of you this mess! Vyom's obsession for you... Bedi's are rejecting her.. and her world will further go down in pieces..
Even the thought of parting is such sorrow. Regardless of how many times he had prepared her he will have to leave eventually. For Sharanya it is a panic attack to find Shiv missing. It's dusk, the garden is empty. Like a woman posessed she calls for him, Shiv! Shiv! he is not so heartless to leave her abruptly. His dwindling figure consoles her. His baritone, gentle, at times rasping voice reminds her.. " Sharanya the motive he came to fulfill is very nearly done. The hour for him to bid farewell to her approaches. Her heart gives wanton excuses to avert parting . she'll uses, tears, reasons to delay and linger his stay beside her!
No way would she accept this parting... she cries they never had enough time with each other.. heaven alone knows when they can meet again?? its a cruel reality! Shiv melts into the closed door.. no tear,no cries will allow his beloved Shiv's Sharanya through.. its the door of eternity! closed for mortals even though they may be lovers! Life has to conquer death!!
Like an obstinate lover, she wails to him to appear before her. Shiv falls weak too. She is his strength. Within her weakness his feet too freeze. One final time he stands before her. His outstretched hand. consoles her.. his soul dwindles into song,even though she fails to hear his song in the cacophony of her world. She will find him whispering to her in the blue moonlight. She will hear his loving ditties in the radiant beams of the sun. She will hear his song for her in the dancing ripples of the babbling brooks. Shiv's Sharanya, will forever be surrounded by the words of his songs. Never will she be alone. As unseen, unheard, he may be, but never will Shiv be unfelt by her..
Sharanya looks up at the cloudy, dark, moonless firmanent.. her heart squeezes as he fades away through the fence. Hysterically she runs and wails against the coarse wooden fence. She felt quite alone, fear grips her. She falls on her knees and protests about being left alone! He will have to return for her. Life has no meaning for her now.. if living is without him...
To soothe her by his nearness, Shiv, descends upon the crouched figure of Sharanya like soft snow flakes..kissing ,gently, calming her by his presence . A heart crafted out of snow lies before her.. she sees Shiv and Sharanya in the centre of the heart. she can sense his tender loving, sincere words, Shiv's Sharanya.. this parting is all about, till we meet again my beloved! Till we meet again... hamlet53 8.3.18
Snooping Vyom , assumes Shiv's spirit has left the earth??
