Who am I?
I am a gust of wind
trapped in a corked bottle that
is raring to go,
blow
slow
cool breeze
on my beloved's face
but cannot find an outlet.
I am the feeling
supressed
in a lovers heart
that longs to
cry out,
shout out,
words of tender love
but cannot find a voice.
I am the word in tiny print
hidden in a long prose
that craves for attention but
goes unspoken
unheard,
unseen
in an old forgotten leather bound book.
I am the tears in the eyes
of misfortune
that cannot
flow
and
show
its sadness,
its emptiness
-its lonliness.
I am the touch
that wants to be felt
but leaves
without a trace.
I am the bud
of a beautiful flower
that died
before it
could bloom.
This is for the ghost who is oft misunderstood, who stands without a voice and yet with so much feeling. The ghost who is trapped in a space where he should not be - a place from where he cannot move on and yet the world around him cannot wait to do just that.
