I guess if he has chosen this role he must have given it a good thought so let's believe in his decision n support him , it's an unconventional role which not many actors would choose this early in their careers ..

As for dialogues his screen presence is so powerful that he needs no dialogues in edkv too their are a number of places where he emotes thru mere expressions ..

I have had my apprehensions about this role all along ---

Vikram and the producer of EDT are very good friends

Namik waited a long time for his show with Sanaya. Dejected when that fell through, he might have taken this up out of frustration.

Having said that and having watched a few episodes, I would urge the TM to wait and watch out for Namik--- In a surprise move, Akshaye Khanna ran away with the accolades in Ittefaq despite the presence of a hot favorite and Padmavati's trailer is a dead give away as to whom the movie belongs to😆

Vyom can have Sharanya and I'll be happy for their fans. I simply know that their love story will be the perfect backdrop to showcase Namik's persona. The 2 actors to watch for IMO are Namik and Amar Upadhyay, the rest are background dancers.
