yeah ... i totally agree ... by looking at the episodes and promos of this show, it seems like he died in a frozen lake

plus today it was shown in the precap that the whole bathtub turns to block of ice ... so the snow/ice story still fits in 😊 ... but there was also a death in the flower shop, caused by the fire but i highly doubt Shiv died there because first of all Vyom doesn't know anything about that flower shop death and i have a hunch that Vyom and his father had something to do with Shiv's death. 😛

But at the same time it was weird that Vyom doesn't even know about the flower shop that was so close to the college where he went for like two years 😕 ... he keeps on saying "Sharanya and mera college" so Vyom was from that college all right but not knowing this flower shop located so closed by means that he was really oblivious 😆

may be he died in cold storage or in snow fall region 😭 that's why he is icy bhoot 😆

when he comes around Sharanya feels cold only she feels nobody else and she can sense his presence around her 😲

Maybe after the car went over the cliff, Shiv died during snowfall. Maybe someone left him to die post the accident and he froze to death, alone.

As you said, the element a ghost uses to communicate is often indicative of something.
