I doubt that even after it being a slot topper, it can survive for long with this kind of rating. They'll have to intensify the plot. Because unlike the 1st week the promotions will decrease with time. So they need to keep the audience hooked.

The show before EBSS, Karnsagini I think, got 0.7-0.9 and ran for about 100 episodes.

So, if EBSS maintains at 1 it will still run for 5-6 months.

Lets hope it climbs.

Frankly, with all the promotion and hype, I expected it to be 1.5.

The plotline is different, the episodes of first week are tight and there is no dragging. But it still didn't work for audience.

I guess, the audience these days is all about romance + OTT villain. Thats what I'm seeing in every other show.

Last year there was a show, RKC, which was really good. But it didn't get good trps. So they went for the romance angle (forced in my opinion). But by that time it was too late, show went off air in 8-9 months I think.

So, lets not keep our hopes very high. If EBSS runs for 8 months good. Be prepared for 6 months. And if it climbs in trps, then a year. *fingers crossed*

I guess they would soon increase focus on Kabir-Kavya love story. The only problem I see there, is that Kavya/Tanvi needs to improve her acting. If they click, the show would do well. Romance + vamp, the usual formula in every show.

I just hope that for trps they don't start sidelining Shrenu's character yet again.

This isn't good for her. First DBO merged with IB abruptly. Now if this show doesn't do well, she won't be considered a bankable star. 😒

As I have already said in the other thread, they need to balance out the show and bring in the conflict between Jhanvi and Kabeer, and also romance between the couple. Otherwise with this ratings the show won't last for long.

Yes merger was the worst decision for both the shows. But I don't think this will degrade her image as an actor. She is indeed giving her best, and the reviews are good too.

I don't think it was bad for IB because Shivika still got their due, it was Om's and Rudra's love stories which were sidelined. Anyways, don't want to get into that, because this DT is for Shrenu.

Bankability has nothing to do with image of an actor. She might start getting side character roles from now on, if EBSS doesn't do well.

Till DBO, Shrenu only played female lead. Its IB which ruined her image. I hoped that EBSS resurrects her lead status, but it depends on how well EBSS performs.

I think people are liking only that kind of drama with dragging the story not many episodes without any meaning. Even i feel the same😞. Don’t know how long they are going to telecast it if the trp is low. Like you said don’t want them to sideline shrenu’s character if they’re going to show romance it’s ok. I hope they give importance to both the plots.
