Hey ladies aur unki gentlemen,
Loving Ek Boond Ishq right now with Mr and Mrs Sherlock Holmes putting on their thinking hats and investigating the Agnihotri mystery. What's super good about this is that they're doing this together as a team and they have each other's back which we saw in last night's episode :) Look I know trps have been a huge factor and it spoils the whole fun of watching the show but please WATCH THE SHOW AT 8:30 ON LIFEOK IN INDIA AND IN THE UK. It's important to have good numbers in UK as well because it shows our show's popularity internationally. I don't care if you hate the show, love the show or you don't really care but tuning in for a couple of minutes or for the whole half an hour makes a huge difference!
SHEGUFTA'S BEST SCENE OF THE DAY IS MRIARA'S TRIP AND CATCH!
What makes this the best scene?
For me, the main reason that this scene was the best is because of the beautiful contrast between the pre-leap trip and catch and the post-leap trip and catch. The integration of the old scene showed a lovely transition in the Mriara's relationship which has been wonderfully conveyed by the exceptional expressions and body language of ViCha.
1. The old Mriara moment was when they were both confused about their feelings for one another and they were still unsure about the future of their relationship. In this scene, MJ reassured a worried Tara that he won't let her fall and rightly so he held onto her tightly when she lost her balance - however, there was a certain amount of discomfort, awkwardness but at the same time there was that spark and that tingly feeling having been so close to each other. Overall this scene, showed Mriara as friends learning to understand their relationship as husband and wife.
2. The recent Mriara moment was similar in that Mriara are also in the "friendship" stage in this new phase in their lives but there's a huge difference from the Mriara of the past and Mriara of the present. Unlike the first time, where Tara had to question whether MJ would catch her, here we saw an unspoken and a silent trust exist between Mriara where she stood up on the stool knowing that MJ is right behind her to catch her if she falls.
What I loved the most was when she did fall, MJ cradled her in his arms with so much ease and care and the whole moment was devoid of any awkwardness or discomfort. This is because there's no uncertainty or confusion regarding their feelings for each other because they both know that they love one another.
More importantly, this scene showed Mriara as friends rediscovering their relationship as husband and wife which was conveyed through the long and sustained eye lock and MJ slowly putting Tara down on the ground.
The first time they were jittery and slightly flushed but this time around there was warmth and love in the way that they. looked at each other and lingered in that moment.
Note: I also really loved MJ eating the prasad to check if it was safe for Tara because (a) it showed how deeply he cares for her and (b) it also highlights how he trusts Tara more than Laado who he is apparently indebted to for his life. Also I love how he calls her ma'am and not Sia anymore! (It's funny hearig Viraf calling little Chhavi ma'am 😆)
