thanks tina... for reading my bakhwas with patience...was enlightening or not . i don't know ... but i always try to reach the fact /message which makers wanna convey to us with characters and story line ... it may seems odd sometimes .. . cause of different point of views... but my only intention is to show what ppl can't see easily...

about being writer ... i write . ... but i may not be the brilliant writer like u said... there r a lot more excellent writers in this forum...

But you have to admit that he was greedy which was why he got Mannat married forcefully and he was suspicious by nature and obsessive and insecure because of which he refused to believe Sia and killed her!!!!😔 😔

You cannot say what Othello did was only because Iago made him do it!!!!🤔

Similarly you cannot justify saying what Omkar did was because Mannat made him do it!!!!😳

Omkar was responsible for his own actions because he was like that!!!!😒

mere ko malum tha ki koi aur kuch bole na bole ... isse teri trigger jarroor dab jayegi🤣... ok othello i can justify... desdemona didn't marry him willingly(at least not out of love though after wards she began to likehim)...othello had a inferiority complex about his skin colour ,in deep down of his heart he knew he not really deserve desdemona though he loved her more than his life...that was his weakness... ppl around him used tht weakness of him to bharkaoing him... his fear transformed into ego and anger... thus he killed her .. but in guilt became suicidal ... now how much similarity is there with om's case ?

(shanu i am not talking about u)...you know what jui dear mai aajkal on and off EHT dekh rahi hoon aur fourm bhi visit karti hoon aur wahaan sabse surprising cheez maine jo dekhi hai wo hai Shaurya/Vatsal per bahut sari post...he is playing a role of rapist and murder(worse than omi) fir bhi wahaan vatsal ki acting,dressing even uske one liner dialogue per post banayi jaati hai...per yahaan toh Omi/Ankur ka naam lena bhi gunaah ho gaya hai😕i don't know ki usse leke kyo itni insecurity hai jabki sabko pata hai show ka hero sirf aur sirf MJ hai😕

Desdemona eloped with Othello going against her father and so get that notion out of your head that she didn't marry him out of love!!!!😛 😊

Clearly you have not read Othello or even watched the movie Omkara!!!!😒 😒 😒 😒 😒

But yes I agree that Othello had an inferiority complex about his skin colour and he felt Desdemona would regret her decision eventually!!!!!

Iago exploited that weakness but nowhere has Shakespeare shown in Othello or anywhere else that what he did was because of Iago!!!!

Shakespeare never showed that the tragic heroes were mere puppets of the villains or situations but showed that what they did was because of their own traits and their own doings!!!!😊

As for similarities, Mannat had made Omkar think Sia was cheating on him with Rajat exploiting Omkar's obssessive nature and anger!!!!😳

And it is Omkar's fault that he didn't trust Sia and it is his fault that he runs that organ racket, not Mannat's!!!!😒

Mannat can instigate him but it is Om finally who would do and not do the thing!!!!

read it again dear... nandu ki sequence choti thi . usse limeligt jayada nehi mili... sirf ek line.. ab kya kare safari park mein hi sab kuch hota hain... accha lage ya bura. ikhna toh usiki bare mehi hain...

To use a very traditional term, Shaurya is the central male character in Ek Haseena Thi!!!!😳

Yes he is the antagonist but he is the central male character!!!!😛 😊

Durga is the central female character of the show!!!!😊

Dev is Durga's love interes but he cannot be called the hero of the show!!!!🤔

It is more on the lines of Shakespearean comedies which had a female protagonist and a male antagonist!!!!😊 😊

The male protagonists were heroes simply because they were opposite the female protagonist, otherwise there was nothing particularly heroic about them!!!!!😛

It is an accepted thing in that forum that it is all about Durga's revenge against Shaurya rather than love between Durga and Dev!!!!!😳

The format of this show is different!!!!😛 😊

MJ is the central male character and the male protagonist and Tara is the central female character and female protagonist!!!!😊

And of course we have a transsexual antagonist and now tons of other antagonists!!!!😛

Add to it, Omkar is being touted as second lead rather than an antagonist!!!!!😒 😒 😒 😒 😒

So it is natural for us to behave like that!!!!😊
