Yep I think they kept him hidden to not ruin the surprise but I also feel we have a chance of getting a dream sequence.

Mannat, to take revenge from her brother, played Iago to Omi's Othello and made him think there was an affair between Sia and Rajat!!!!😳

This led to Omi killing Sia in a fit of anger and possibly trying to kill Rajat only he survived and has now gone mad!!!!

Thus Omi took away Mannat's love and Mannat took away Omi's love!!!!😳

Regina's love Daniel was also killed by her mother Cora and then she was married off to King Leopold, Snow's father, who never got over his first wife, leaving Regina trapped in a loveless marriage!!!!
