Yes for some reason I'm getting the feeling that the kid track won't play out and instead of a 5 year leap it'll be like a leap of a couple of months or even just a year. Surely Tara couldn't have suffered a memory loss of 5 years where she raises a kid without ever trying to find out who the father is or MJ never bothering to find out what happened to Tara.
Also why would Tara be wearing sarees that look like Nirmala's after the leap if she's living with another family?
Since Saba hasn't come out and said anything regarding the leap, I'm still assuming that they're working on story still.

I second u both on that. If they are adamant on the leap that's fine but don't want gollu suffering . They can show Tara's pregnancy track at the end .

Exactly I feel like that they're still contemplating about the leap or else why now have Meethi getting pregnant and RP trying to find the truth? If they really wanted to show a leap now then wouldn't they start showing signs of Tara beimg pregnant?
