Chhavi meets with a freaky accident

It seems like actress Chhavi Pandey had a bad day at work yesterday!! In order to escape from a major accident on the set of her show, the lady met with yet another freaky accident thus injuring her left hand severely.

Well, we are talking about Tara, the protagonist of Life OK's Ek Boond Ishq (BBC Worldwide Productions). The actress was shooting for her sequence yesterday evening along with Hunar Hali, who essays the role of Nandini, when she saw a cutter machine falling towards them. Chhavi immediately took action, and dragged Hunar along with her. Soon both the ladies were seen running for safety. However, it was Chhavi's ill luck that while running, she fell flat on a centre table placed there. Hunar who was running along with her ended up falling on Chhavi.

A source from the set of the show says that Chhavi was in severe pain as her left hand started to swell up. There was pandemonium on the sets of Ek Boond Ishq for few minutes. Immediately, the entire team took Chhavi to a hospital in Hiranandani, where she underwent an X-ray on her left hand.

We hear that though the lady is in severe pain, she is present on the sets today to shoot her close-up sequences for the ongoing Maha Episodes.

When contacted, Chhavi Pandey told Tellychakkar.com, "Yes, it was a freaky accident and I thank God for being safe today. Initially, Hunar and I ran as the cutter was about to fall on us. While running, I could not balance and fell hard on a centre table. Thank God, the crew members had taken away the glass cover from the table. If I had hit myself on the glass placed there, I would have met with a serious accident."

Expressing her gratitude to her entire team of Ek Boond Ishq, Chhavi said, "The whole team was there at the hospital with me. My director, crew members and Hunar were present. Hunar took special care of me, and even dropped me home."

When enquired about her bruises, the actress said, "I took an x-ray of my left hand yesterday. The doctor gave me injections and pain killers, because of which I could sleep at night. I had to go and meet the doctor today morning, but I have some quick shots to give. So I am at the set presently shooting. I am not able to use my left hand at all, and there are bruises on my body too. The doctor suspects a hair line fracture on my hand, but I will be able to get to know of it only when I meet him today. I plan to meet my doctor for further medical advice in few hours."
