I actually cried so much during this episode and I actually felt so bad for Tara! MJ's reaction was very apt to the situation since he did just find his childhood friend who he thought was dead.
Ok I'm completely ready to shoot Nirmala in the head which is probably empty anyway but seriously how does she know that Radha is MJ's first and only love? She neglected him for 25 years and all of a sudden she's an expert on MJ's love life. I know all of MJ's words sounded like they were from the bottom of his heart but somewhere I just felt that he said it in a 'I'm your best friend' kind of way.
Is it possible that he did love Radha but decided to move on when he got married to Tara and hence his self-control?
Maybe but the way he stopped her hand in the end said it all. There's no one, not even his supposedly first and only love, that can replace Tara's place in MJ's life.
Tara saw MJ in his worst and fell in love with him despite all his attempts to distance himself from her. She also brought out the best in him and gave him the coura ge to fight for his life and justice. She gave him his moti, bandana and most importantly unconditional love which no woman has ever given him his entire life.
There's a quote that says:
"If you had to choose between your first love and your second love, choose the second love because if you truly loved the first person than you would have never gone onto love another."
There was no romantic love. And there never will be between Radha and MJ because his heart only beats for Tara.
I cried because I somehow could understand what Tara was going through. She felt as though she only had his attention because he thought Radha was dead.
I really hope she lets go of his hand tomorrow and walks away because MJ needs to realise that if he doesn't express his feelings than he'll lose his first and only love forever!
Love,
Shegufta xx
