"Mohit might sing for me during our engagement ceremony" - Nidhi Uttam
Television actress Nidhi Uttam who rose to fame with the television show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus is getting married soon. The pretty actress who is now seen in Life OK's Ek Boond Ishq is getting married to her childhood friend Mohit Pathak who is also a singer and music producer. The couple fell in love a long time back and decided to tie the knot.
TellyBuzz got in touch with the lovely bride to know about her wedding preparations, ceremonies and honeymoon plans.
Talking about the wedding preparations and ceremonies, Nidhi says, "I had celebrated a bridal shower with my girlfriends, and then we also had sangeet and mehendi ceremonies at my house. Today is the haldi ceremony and tomorrow is the engagement and wedding."
The couple also plans to have two receptions for their family and friends, "We will be having one reception in Lucknow as all our relatives live there and one will be in Mumbai but nothing is finalized as yet," says Nidhi.
Since the couple is busy with their work commitments, Nidhi and Mohit are planning for their Honeymoon next year. Talking about the destination, Nidhi says, "We have not finalised our honeymoon plans as yet since Mohit is a singer and has many shows lined up and I too have not got much leaves so we shall go for our honeymoon later in 2014 and might go to Malaysia."
The bride to be is also happy that Mohit who is a singer by profession will be singing a song for his lady love and she shares excitedly, "Mohit might sing for me during our engagement ceremony. It might be some surprise song I think." (Laughs)
