Tara plans the Great Escape but before she goes she decides to inform Baba about her reason for leaving and that she could not fulfill her promise of changing the savage to a noble being She says she is breaking her promise as she has no longer the strength to keep it. "Now it's about my self-respect. You might never be able to forgive me for it. Even if my family is left homeless. I'll do anything but I can't crush my self-respect. Through a letter - leaving this house forever." With everyone hovering around the house, Tara realizes her earlier attempt to escape had failed, it would not be easy to escape so of course she has to turn to her Savior and Dost. Tara has kept that letter, Nirmala or Baba is sure to find it someday.
Mrityunjay The White Knight recollects Tara's agony after his crude accusations. So he did stay back and listen to her outpouring of pain...Every torture he had inflicted on her comes to play...just then the phone rings and someone calls him saying, "Kunwar Saheb I have found some clues , could you come to Indore? He says he would go anywhere to find the truth and would be leaving the same evening. This convo is overheard by Nirmala and she finds the perfect way to nail Mrityunjay. Goes on to give Rudra the good news, but when he hears that MJ is going to Indore he worries cause the asylum too is in Indore A prisoner on parole cannot leave the city, so Nirmala gets the cops to track him down as he is planning the Great Escape.
Rudra's father Rajveer Singh Shekhawat, is now found and brought back into the asylum. Now the asylum is in Indore so what is Rudra doing there if he is at home. Here Rudra tortures him reminding him of the punishments he meted out to him when a kid. I feel the channel might have cut the torture scenes. And glad they did. Can't handle an old person being tortured.
Tara in Red (the Color of Love & Passion on the positive side and Revenge and Anger on the opposite side) comes to the stable looking for her Dost. He is not around. "Friend I need you today the most, but you are nowhere to be found. She prays, "Hey Mata Raani (the Lakhsmi Idol she had left back the Diwali night) tomorrow Baba will return, If I don't run away by today, then I will never be able to escape from that prison. Please help me!" She goes to the mare, tells her that if she does not find him today she will lose all hope of escaping. Waits for him to come, does not find any sign of him. Sits down and cries thinking there was no hope...and he stands there right in front of her...I think he was watching her and could not stand her crying so came forward. He asks "Eh ladki what are doing here. When she sees him her happiness knew no bounds and she goes to hug him but then stops herself from doing so. He is hesitant too, " Thank God you came. In life what the point of friendship, if a friend does not help a friend." says Tara amidst her tears.
Mrityunjay stands there helpless, can't take her in his arms and console he is afraid of touching her for then there would be no turning back. "The thought of you not being over here today. " she can't hold back the tears, He asks What happened" She says, "I can't live with that monster after what happened yesterday." Burning inside he listens to her woes, "Your friend cannot endure this torture anymore. I have not told you, that I am married, but my husband, is a disgrace to every husband in this world. He is worse than an animal. He wants to kill me. I hate him. I hate him beyond Imagination, I want to escape from his tyranny, and only you can help me. Begging and pleading, "Please save me, please, you have always saved me whenever I was in trouble. Will you help me again?" and she places her hands on his shoulders demanding an answer, "I want to go away from that horrible man" Her words crush his insides, she continues" save me from him, say something." He moves back... he couldn't let her touch him. His Mind won but His Heart died... She walks back seeing his rejection...he could not yet let her go...he had to be the one to take her away from him...he had to give an ending to his own goal. "I'll save you from myself" Tells her to stop and gives her the keepsake bandana to wipe her tears. I will take you to such a place where neither your demon of a husband nor his shadow will be able to find you.
Still unsure she asks him, "You will help me for sure, what if you get trapped whilst helping me out."
"Nothing will happen to me, "Aur life mein sahi time par dost ki madat nahi ki toh kya kiya." Hai hai Biwi ke life lessons sikh liya hai Mrityunjay ne. He packs some emergency stuff and some cash, when she asks what are you doing? I am going to my mother's house. He says, "I can't drop you there, because the people from whom you are running will find you easily there. I am dropping you at a safe place then when things are settled you can go to your mother's place.
She does not move, he asks, Don't you trust me? She replies, "I trust you more than myself. That is why when I could not help myself I came to you. Because I know you can never be evil as my husband, who could lie to me and take me on a date and then attempt to kill me." Every word she spoke stabs him back...and hates himself for being the one responsible for every pain every tear that she shed. He maintains a straight face and says, Lets go.
She pulls his arm to come and pray before they leave. Making him join his hands in prayer. He looks at her and questions God. Why her and why me?😭
They are driving in an amwesome open jeep when he gets a call, someone he calls Kaka. He says he can't make it to Indore as he had more important work. She thanks him, he asks for what, "To save me from that demon. I feel as if I have left that nightmare behind me. Neither is that shadow with me nor than evil man stalking me." The cops are in the same vicinity trying to locate them. They are being tracked and followed.
On seeing her bite her nails, he asks are you hungry, she denies it. He gets her a stale apple. Then a better one...She bites into it offering him. And then he sees something on her lips, indicates it to her... but then finding it hard to resist, gently removes it with his fingers. The touch affects him and her. ☺️
He stops the jeep to see that there is a roadblock by the cops. She wonders why since they had not done anything. But then realizes that it could be her husband's family who got the cops to go after her. All along he knows the cops are after him and not her. He turns the jeep and drives further and stops at the tea stall. Gets two cups of chai and then asks for salt. Adds a pinch of salt to both their cups. They sip the tea in silence but steal glances at each other. How cute is that. She then says, when two people depart they share sweetness, but we will be the world's first friends who will part drinking salted tea. Our relationship is so different from the rest. Indeed he says, our relationship is very different from the world.
This scene was not just to show subtle romance but so much more...Firstly they were not parting hence the sweetness was not part of this ritual and the salt signifies so much more..The Bible holds salt with much reverence, It is said that 'The salt covenant is much more than a covenant of friendship. It is an irrevocable pledge and promise of fidelity. Those who have taken salt together would rather die before they would break their covenant. '
The salt on the paper flies off and gets into her eye. He helps her to clean it off tenderly. Somehow that bandana keeps coming out and going back into his pockets. He ain't giving that one up yet, until death do us part!
Kalavati and her usual shenanigans continue. Poor Vishwajeet clean shaved today even the shoulders! They looked as smooth as silk to me
She falls asleep on his shoulder, the dupatta falls on him and he feels the softness of it...the cops are chasing them and at the same time Kala plays the dhol glorifying the end of Mrityunjay.
Mrityunjay speeds, when the car swivels, he covers her mouth with his hand to stifle her scream and he hits his forehead against the steering wheel. She cries seeing the blood. She wipes it with her dupatta, and then tears off her dupatta and ties it around his wound. He is so lost in her love and concern for him. It was the last of this love he would ever get . He wipes away her tears. Still weeping, she says, "You got badly hurt because of me." He replies, "What pain your devilish husband inflicted on you this is nothing compared to that. Your scarf too is ruined." Tara says lovingly, "You have done so much for me and can't I do even this for you?
This subtle romance was so perfect considering she thinks of him just as a friend.
Danger still looming over them they leave. Its nightfall...darkness around them they are still driving...
At home Meethi asks about them and Vasu they might have gone on a romantic drive somewhere.
Suddenly the car stops and they reach a spot close to an abandoned place. The cops are behind them. The car is overheated, so he would have to get hold of some water to cool the radiator off.
Whilst trying to open the bonnet, scathing his hand, she is concerned. He says, "I am getting some water you stay here. Okay?"
She holds on to his wrist saying, "Please come back soon. I am scared to stay without you." Noticing that she is feeling the night chills, goes to the back of the car, pulls out a shawl and wraps it around her shoulders saying, "Those people are alone, who have no one, I am with you...Always!" A perfect indication of their future, he would be with her Always!
He does not want to leave her alone. He steps back and smiles. He keeps looking at her from afar. Like it would be the last time he would be seeing her. He trips and falls and gets up...now that could be significant ...that he fell in her eyes and would rise again...The cops finally reach where they are. She thinks they will take her away, and she had to make up some excuse.
Mrityunjay lowers himself, hiding behind the makeshift barricades and watches. He knows they have come looking for him. They ask her what she was doing and with whom she was? Hesitatingly she says she is with her husband. Now that admission must have taken him to heaven...but what follows is what bring him back to earth. She tries to divert the cops attention from searching too much. Asks for a mechanic. They keep searching. She then questions as to who they were chasing. The cops explains that it was Mrityunjay, Jayraj's son who is escaping, this is his picture. We felt that a person like him was with you.
She is confused? But that is her husband - Mrityunjay! The cop pulls out a picture and shows it to her. The Darinda Pati just slapped her a thousand times... her world comes crashing down! At last facing the ugly truth - the one she trusted the most and the one she hated were one and the same.
Mrityunjay looks on knowing at last the truth was out...she sees him hiding down there. She is in a state of shock and disbelief. He knew she had the perfect chance to hand him over but she did not. Why? Her steps falter...legs shaky but still firm she walks towards where he was, he comes out of his hiding to face her wrath..., a woman scorned and cheated, and a man who brought it all upon himself to save her from him. Torn and broken he calls out ,"Tara!"and she slaps him hard left and right... He lost a friend forever!
Precap: Raging mad she screams, "You have played all the tricks, that you had to play Mrityunjay Singh Shekhawat. Now it's my turn I will take revenge for all the tricks that you have played on me. Did you hear me? She touches his cheek (how sweetly but angrily) and says be ready!!
Now you did not know you married the Bhai of Bhopal! This is Tara (Parvati) your better half who has a shakti of her own, untamed and chaotic...so better be ready. And here I feel she thinks he has been lying to her from the day they first met.
Can't wait for the clock to strike the EBI bell!
