Hi Guys,

Here are our thoughts and analysis for the episodes of October 9th through the 18th of October. We will also be posting the parallels and symbolisms view later today or tomorrow. Please do keep a look out for it. Here is our analysis and thoughts on what we saw this week:

Meethi and Tara

- Last week Tara asked Meethi if when she sees Tauji she gets scared. Meethi replied that she used to get scared of him but one day when Fahim chacha was not around she gave food to him, and well her kheer, and Tauji was really pleased and after that she was no longer scared of him. This gives Tara an idea to please Tauji by cleaning his room. Poor girl did not realise what a bad idea that was! We wonder if Meethi found out something in Fahim's absence which led to her no longer being scared of him, or whether she found out Tauji's truth and thus realised everything was a big lie? Alternatively is it possible that Meethi is a grey or dark character shown as being good (which we can hope is not the case!).

- She gets the idea of cleaning the room when she sees Fahim's keys, but the keys were in the kitchen with Meethi perhaps? Is she also an accomplice to Tauji or to Fahim?

- In another episode Meethi is praised by Jairaj for the delicious Halwa she has made which does not sit well with Kalawati and we see her miffed at the praise.

- Tara comes to Meethi's room to get something and manages to startle Meethi into moving back, something is in the drawer, is it a set of keys or is it gungroo? What does this mean? What exactly is going on in Meethi's life?

- We also see Tara contemplate the fact that Meethi is living in a lie and that she also has to fake her situation and make it seem like she is ok, as everything in the house is a lie.

- In this episode we see Meethi trying to interact with her husband, who constantly throughout the weeks, has been shunning her and criticising her for running around after him as if he is God - does he feel inferior in front of her love? Or is it something more selfish and sinister?

- Today we see that Meethi is about to fall and Aditya catches her and they share a moment with each other, when Adi's phone rings he drops her on the bed, breaking her heart and embarrassing her. She sits angry picking up her stuff, she then continues to twist it and we see her face contorted with anger. She closes the curtains and ties the dupatta across her body as if to dance and goes towards the cupboard, and right at that moment Tara walks in. She looks scared and freezes not knowing what to say. She recovers and decides to help Tara.

- Tara asks her to bring MJ to see his dad so that they can convince him to go to the Mandir and Meethi helps her.

- When Tara says to her FIL that she will always be there for him, Meethi cements this by saying me and Tara are together as a Jodi. Which we think could be a sign of her becoming Tara's friend.

Nirmala

- An interesting character, one that seems to be either fearful of Tauji or has some dark secret that makes her conform to him. His praise seems to hold a much higher place for her then actually her own husband.

- Her decisions are backed by Tauji and vice versa, which makes one wonder who exactly is the husband in this situation.

- She hides Aditya's mistakes and gets him out trouble; she presents him in a good light in front of Jairaj and Rudra.

- In comparison, she does not have much time for MJ apart from blackmailing him emotionally to do something which she sees as a promise and we see as some kind of coercion just to get a mother's love. However it is not only MJ that has missed out on the love, if what is shown is correct, then even her daughter has been neglected. It is a sad state of affair when a mother has to constantly keep on taunting her daughter for every little thing she does. It makes the child rebellious and hell bound on doing the opposite.

- She tends to think she is very health conscious, well fitted in society and in control. She will soon realise that nothing is as it seems and that although jalebis might help put on weight, but in her life they might also be the only source of sweetness.

- We see an evil streak in her when she emotionally blackmails MJ saying that he must have been waiting for Tara, he has forgotten everything, he does not care where she is from and then she stabs him with the dagger and twists the knife for extra effect by saying that someone whose blood is not real, how can their promise be real? She then says she does not want him calling her mum and all this is done so that he is unable to come close to Tara and that he backs off from forming any relationship...makes one wonder what the hell was the promise and did it have something to do with saving her own or her son's backside????

- Nirmala later taunts and verbally abuses Nandini and Tara's mum, degrading them so that they do not keep on popping in over and over again, making them aware that they are not of the same class. Why does she have such an obsession with class? Was she always rich or did Rudra make her rich??

- We see once again a few days ago how obsessed Nirmala is with cleanliness, she behaves rudely with her daughter and when her hubby says how many things will you do this with and she says do you want the list? She also does not care that her husband is upset or unwell, she seems more busy in being selfish and keeping herself fit.

Aditya

- Not much is known about him other than the fact that he seems to be a spoilt little brat that gets away with murder. His tracks are always covered; he is supported by both Tauji and his mum. But could he be in the line of fire for bigger trouble or could he be hiding something more sinister?

- He had Nandini in his trap and seems to be a bit of a womaniser, however when he realises Nandini is clutching hard he gets rid of her fast.

- He seems to have some attraction for his wife, though he seems hell bent on banking it down.

Nandini

- So far she is seen as being selfish and someone who gets jealous of other people doing well for themselves; fairly quickly.

- She was angry her sister got married in a rich family.

- At the same time she seems quite loving as well and seems to love her sister.

- She has a mean streak that might get her in trouble.

- She is obsessing over Adi which might get her in trouble.

- Who is the neighbour? Things are never as they seem. He is interested in Nandini but why? Has Adi sent him to trap Nandini to get her off his back, or is he using Nandini and them lot to get to Rudra or Adi? Is he an undercover cop or a gangster? Something is there. Does he really use the crutches or is that just for the world to see?

Jairaj

- He loves MJ a lot. He knows that MJ is not in the wrong and he will do anything to prove that this is the case.

- He regrets what he did with Tara and is trying hard to make it up to her. He won her over fairly fast as she could see that his heart is clean. Their relationship is one worth watching as it a very strong one. They will definitely be each other's support when MJ goes back in jail.

- He knows that his younger son is spoilt and is trying hard to teach him to be responsible; unfortunately his brother and wife are not helping.

- He is scared of his brother, which makes me wonder how much of a role his brother plays in his life...seems like Rudra is a father figure and is abusing that position.

- He is easily hurt when someone says something bad.

- It was hilarious watching him when his wife squeals upon seeing the cockroach; he openly admits how pleased he had been at that scene by his wife. What a hubby!

- His son breaks his heart by refusing to go to the Mandir, we see him shed a tear which breaks his DIL's heart. He tells his daughter in law that he has never refused his brother and that now because of Mrityunjai, he will be embarrassed...why so much fear of his brother? Haha!!! He managed to get the two of them married though.

MJ

- "If you leave flowers again I will lay down so many thorns that it will be difficult for you to walk!" quite an interesting statement for something that occurs later and will continue to occur. Tara also makes a comparison with her hubby saying you are both the same. But she is also adamant that she will bring happiness into the house.

- The door swings leaving her presence known and MJ notices that whoever was there has fed the horse. She makes a dig at him saying "Mr India's second avatar, maybe you can live by breathing but along with food and air the horse also needs water and love. The water I have done you can do the love." This irritates him. But an interesting statement, she can provide the strength and nourishment whilst all he has to do is provide the love, and together it will provide the ammunition.

- MJ knows the secrets of the house but does not want his dad hurt, so he wants to keep things secret.

- The poor guy comes out of the shower and all he wants is a head rub and here is Tara behind him once again...why the hell can she not leave him alone...that's not us saying that, its him!

- Everyone seems to have a grudge against him, we wonder if it is because he is Jairaj's ladla?

- After being taunted by his mother and being shunned by her and being told not to call her mother, MJ decides that the root cause of all this trouble is Tara and that she needs to be taught a lesson for telling people they had come close. The poor girl has said nothing to anyone and she gets put in the middle of this mess. However clean his intentions were, it was completely inappropriate to scare the hell out of her and put the fear of rape in her mind. Yes we understand that he wants to push her away. But it would be more sensible for him actually to realise that she might not be happy with this whole thing either. Instead he seems hell bent on punishing her simply coz she married for money. Well no one else would have married you babes, they would have run hard and fast.

- He breaks his dad's heart by refusing to go to the temple, and says that for him the relationship is a hoax. After wards he feels guilty for being rude to his dad.

- Tara leaves a message for him saying relationships are a lie, and leaves yellow flowers. He chucks water on it taking off the writing and starts to paint the wall, he does half the wall white and leaves a message asking what happened. She completes painting the rest of the wall and leaves a message saying what happened with me; can anything worse happen to anyone else? Later when he reads the message he thinks that it must be someone that has been hurt by destiny like him and leaves a message asking her what happened.

- MJ finds out his horse has been deliberately hurt and wonders whether if this is due to the person that keeps coming to his stable and leaving messages, he does not realise he is being set up for a murder.

Tara

- Tara, poor thing, she tries to keep away from him but continues to land in a pile of mess every single time. She did not want to give him a head rub, but what choice did she have? If she didn't give it she would have to disclose that she was behind him. It might help if you take off the bangles next time!

- Bechari Tara, after a horrendous experience with her equally horrendous husband seeks comfort from her husband's horse...oops!!! Wait we got that wrong, she does not know that is his horse...kind of ironic right?

- MJ left a remark for her on the wall saying don't lecture me on love.

- Tara leaves milk in Tauji's room whilst trying to work out where he disappeared; she is also confused by all the going ons in the house. She has realised she cannot share her pain with anyone, even her mum, as her mum would be heart broken by it.

- Jairaj tells Tara that she and MJ have to go to the Kul Devi Mandir, Tara is scared she has flashbacks about what MJ had attempted to do. She does not want to go and has no choice but to go.

- At night she wakes up and begins to sleep walk - she is disturbed but does not know the cause of her disturbance.

- Sleepwalking often occurs when one is distressed, in Tara's case, so much has happened. Also her terror at what is happening in the house and that her husband can do anything is contributing to all this.

- Tara kills a cockroach and manages to scare the ladies of the house. But it signifies that she will get rid of all the bad and dirty things in the house. The Cockroach teaches us how to use what we have available to us for survival.
To clean out the dead and useless aspects of our lives. When the Cockroach appears as a totem, our sensitivity to subtle changes will be magnified. We will have the power to scurry out of danger. People with this totem often find that they had an abbreviated childhood - a premature movement into adulthood, the necessity to take on early responsibility. Although often seen as a disgusting animal, the Cockroach is actually a gifted teacher in the art of survival and successful adaptability, especially in environment that may seem a bit hostile.

- Tara is scared of eunuchs and openly confesses this to her father in law who says to her that they are humans like us and that you need their blessings. What does the poor guy know, his brother has managed to put her off Eunuchs for life.

- On realising that her FIL is really upset because MJ refused to go to the mandir, she comes up with a plan to convince MJ. She gets her FIL, along with Meethi's help to fake being unwell. The plan works and MJ agrees to go to the Mandir. Unfortunately for her once they reach the Mandir MJ hears the phone on speaker and realises this was all her plan which leaves him further irritated.

- He leaves her alone on realising that his horse has been hurt not realising that it is a set up and that whoever it was, wants to kill Tara.

- The Pandit is stalling time as Kala/Rudra has told him to do this, he is hell bent on having her killed today. It also seems likely that the Pandit knows Rudra/Kala's secret.

- She is scared as it is hitting evening and MJ has not returned and the Pooja has also not started, let alone occurred, but there is nothing she can do at this point.

- The dress that she wears for the pooja, seems like an odd choice does it not? It is Pink that is fine, she is dressed up like a bride or rather someone who is dead, and has been dressed for the last time before their funeral. However, moreover, up until now for any events she has worn skirted lehengas and salwars with long tops, things that are not so easy to run in. However, here, she is wearing something, that is going to be very easy for her to run in. Almost as if she knows that she will have to run for her life.

- Her last rights being done on the other hand by Rudra, with a picture of her, is not seen as a good omen. However, we do believe that this might be an indication of the change in Tara that has to come.

MJ and Tauji

- A small altercation occurs between these two, where Tauji belittles MJ and says that all the problems in the house are because of him. Interesting how MJ looks at him at this point, sort of like "Really? YOUR saying that?

Rudra/Kala

- Gets a phone call from a woman telling him that by changing clothes it does not change a person's reality; I know everything that you have done and what you are hiding. At the same time he sees Tara coming down and on the phone and thinks that it is her making the call. Who could know his truth? It is very possible that Meethi now knows his truth, seems that she might have access to his room keys as well. Alternatively it could be someone MJ has set up or even someone Fahim Chacha has set up. Interesting how this will develop.

- Rudra is upset at how fate has made Tara the DIL of this house and that it will not hinder him from killing her.

- He thinks that she is trying to disclose both sides of his world, not realising the poor girl does not know anything yet!

- He has decided that he will set MJ up for 2 crimes; he might as well go in for both seeing as it will clear his path up for him.

- He is dancing and goes to pick up a bead that fell from the gungroo, he sees Tara walking towards him and freaks not realising that she is sleepwalking. He decides he will kill her today. She is about to leave when Meethi comes and wakes Tara and realises she is sleepwalking. However we think that he thinks she was pretending.

- After he overhears Tara telling her FIL that she is scared of Eunuchs, but she will go to the Mandir, satisfied he leaves putting his plan into motion.

- We get to see Kala as a blond bimbo wig; eww! That colour so does not suit him. He picks up the milk that Tara left him and wonders if it was her. He also has her pic in the room and has put a knife through it. Well he is sure obsessed with her!

- The sicko has set up her murder, has set her in the mandir, and before he has even killed her does the rituals for the antim sanskar; he is that positive that she will die today. But who will actually die and who will not, we will have to see in this show where nothing is as it seems.

Also, he says, that "they say that you should never play with fire, lest you get burnt yourself, now see Tara, you are paying for playing with fire." However, this can very well come back to haunt Kala/Rudra, as he is the one playing with fire, literally, setting a funeral pyre on fire, as well as possibly with Tara. Because she is not after him, but because of his own fear he is after her, and will give his game away to her.

Let us see what the coming week will bring for us in this show of mysteries, intrigue and suspense. However, in the meantime, please do also keep a look out for Part 2 of our Parallels and Symbolisms Part 2 Post, either today or tomorrow.

Please leave us your comments via replies, or at the very least like us, if you loved reading our post. But we love to hear what our readers have to say.

Till the next time...

Brilliant detailed analysis ! You are right. Every character seems to be mysterious especially Adi and Meethi. Rudra / Kala is always a mystery. Even Rudra's room to be mysterious. He disappeared into where from that room. I guess there is any sceret door in the room to go outside .
