So confused!

The storyline currently revolves around three characters: Mrithyunjay (MJ), Taara and Kalavati. The man dressed as a woman is Kalavati. The story goes like this: A man (MJ) is accused of rape and murder of a woman and was in jail. Taara is a poor yet bubbly girl living with her mum, older sister (Nandini aka Nandu) and younger brother. MJ's father Thakur Jayraj Shekhawat goes to Taara's house to ask her mum for Nandu's hand in marriage but Taara's mum is sceptical as to why a person from such a rich household would want to marry a girl so poor so she rejects the proposal. Taara runs a food stall which pays for everything in the house but that same day the stall is destroyed by municipality people. She returns home and finds out about the proposal from Shekhawat household and decides that she will marry to give her family a better life. Taara's mum is hesitant but agrees. On the day of the marriage Taara is taken to MJ who is in jail while her family is stranded on the road thinking that they were on their way to the airport for marriage. Taara is shocked and upset but when thinking about the bleak future awaiting her family.. she marries MJ in jail.

Now she is in his house. She finds out that he is convicted for rape and murder and is scared of him while he thinks she married him for money as who else would marry a prisoner. So he hates her. He seems to be haunted by the memories a girl named Radha who some people have predicted to be the rape and murdered girl. He has memories of her talking to him as Neel which may or may not be his nickname or another character all together... the show right now as a lot of questions and not so many answers. However, Taara and MJ haven't seen each other's faces as husband and wife but they have met. (watch those scenes!!)

Now onto Kalavati... Kalavati is a eunuch who wants to hide this fact and stand up in election. In the first episode Taara was annoyed by some guys who threw the keys of her stall into the mandir (temple) where Kalavati was dancing and doing pooja. No one was allowed to go there but Taara went to get the keys and Kalavati caught her. Taara escaped but Kalavati is troubled thinking she saw her face. Kalavati orders her goons to find Taara and kill her as she cant take any chances. Also it is strongly hinted that Kalavati is also Rudr Bhaisaab, Thakur Jayraj's older brother and MJ's uncle.

Hope it wasn't too confusing... hehe but the show is mysterious and the chemistry between the leads is awesome so I hope you stick around!!
