Hey Friends...
So sorry for being so late...Due to some problems in our area, cable lines are cut and thus, I am not able to watch the serial...go the videos sometime before...so, m updating now...

The episode starts with Bheema coming forward and standing in front of Hidimbaa. He says that its sin to harm any woman and witnessing the same too. But Hidimb said that he will kill him and tried to attack Bheema only to be attacked back by Hidimbaa. Hidima stopped and said that he will kill her after kiliing Bheema and the fight starts between them, Arjuna tired to intervene but Yudhisthira stopped him saying that Bheema can tackle 10 like them at one time. Finally, Bheema killed him and said to Hidimbaa that he has killed the one who has tried to attack her and now, she can leave. But she replied back by saying that he was her brother. Kunti said that they r grateful to her as she tried t save them. Hidimbaa replied that she wants to marry Bheema. First everyone seemed shocked but then, Yudhisthira and Sehdeva tried to convince Kunti. But then he said that there is a peroblem as they can't leave Bheema there and she being from Rakshas Kul can't live with them.

Hidimbaa said that she knew that she cant live with them...Neither she wanted Bheema to leave his family. They can let Bheema stay with her for a while and after getting a son from him, she will send him back to Kunti.

Scene shifts to Narada and Vishnu Ji. Narada ask him that why Bheema has to marry Hidimbaa. Vishnu Ji said that there r 2 reasons behind this meeting...First was Hidimb's death and the second will be their son - Ghatotkatch - who will be an important part of the war at Kurukshetra. Right now, u should concentrate on the current time, where Pandavas are learning a new thing each day.

Yudhidthira, Arjuna, Sehdeva, Nakul are walking around a street asking for Bheeksha. They entered in their home where Kunti asked them to distribute Bheeksha. They all sat to eat, but all were missing Bheema and he arrived there. Everyone's happy to see Bheema back. They were about to eat when they heard some noises from outside. They rushed and saw a woman crying and pleading in front of everyone to save her husband. But a person said that it's rule of their town and now, its their turn. They have promised that everyone they will said some wheat, milk and a person to that man-eater 😕 and they can't break the rule for their family. The woman pleads that instead of sending her husband, they can send her and they shouldn't have any objection to this. Her husband stopped her saying that it's his duty to protect her.

Kunti came forward and announced that instead of sending anyone from their family, they can send one of her sons. The person ask her the name of her son she wants to send. Yudhisthira tried to came frward but Kunti announced the name of Bheema. Yudhisthira seemes shocked.

Alrite, guys I am really sorry once again, Hope that my problem will be solved by next week and will be able to do the update on time.

Bh got a proposal, Kunti accepted it.They were much advanced then us😆 Ghatotkach played important part in the war. I've read the story of Ghatotkach & Abhimanyu too, where they stop a marriage of Dy's son or daughter ,don't remember exactly now.

Vishnuji & Narad discussing the events looks much better then every time Krishna being showed explaining the reason behind the events.

Kunti send Bh, Yd wanted to go, but Bh's more experienced in killing rakshasas. Atleast Hidimba & Bakasura's story is shown as pr the original one.

thanks a lot for the update,

the epi was quite cool and the bheem guy is growing on me. Correct me if i am wrong but it seems like Yudishtir was a little disappointed or a lil jealous(????) when kunti announced bheems name, its as if he was planning to go and kill bakasura. This looked a little bit weird to me, didnt kunti and yudisthir both decide bheem should go since he is the one capable of killing a rakshasha with his bare hands? and the pandava brothers were renouned for their unity, the only time a tinge of jealousy might have crept up was when draupadi chose arjuna, but that again was solved by lord K.

So is this the figment of my imagination or did the sagars do it on purpose?

Don't worry about it - glad you finally got it out.

Something that stuck me about that fight - it was just a physical combat b/w these 2, involving no weapons. As someone else noted yesterday, the Pandavas should have had their weapons w/ them, but they didn't. Which wasn't a major howler, but Hidimb attacking Bhima w/ his mace was. Yeah, Bhima was strong, but not so strong that if struck w/ a mace, he wouldn't be wounded. Ultimately, it ended w/ Bhima possessing Hidimb's mace & killing him w/ it.

I didn't get the point of showing Narad & Vishnu (there he is again, while Krishna is in Dwarka/Hastinapur... oh, never mind!) discussing Hidimba. So far, they haven't introduced Karna, and have been smoothly narrating the story w/o him. If they're not going to have Karna, what's the point of having Vishnu tell Narad about the important role Ghatotkacha would play (he's probably not talking about killing Alamvusha)? Ghatotkacha would be useful during the Pandava exile, as he & his followers helped carry Draupadi & the Pandavas to different places.

On the scene in Ekachakra, where Kunti heard the story of Bakasura, I agree w/ Tan above that it was uncharacterestic of Yudhisthir to be envious of Bhima. What did he expect - that he would kill the demon, or did he expect Bhima to be eaten, and therefore would have wanted to go in his stead. But what surprised me - and this was a real howler - was Kunti using Bhima's name while volunteering him. Hello!!! The Pandavas were supposed to be incognito, and weren't supposed to be recognized. Here, it seemed that few knew them, but there was no way they would have wanted their secret to be leaked @ this stage.

On Mnx's comment, Kunti accepting Bhima's proposal was easy, since kshatriyas & brahmins were allowed polygamy @ the time. So if Bhima missed Hidimba, he could always marry someone else. Sahadev's comments were funny about the Bhima-Hidimba jodi 😆 (Incidentally, I didn't mind this, but I hope DBSK doesn't copy a lot of things from the Mahabhashana, since that serial made up too much stuff. I'd prefer DBSK to either show the original, or write their own stuff 😆)

P.S. Mnx, the story of Abhimanyu & Ghatotkacha is about Abhimanyu marrying Balarama's daughter Vatsala, who Balarama had offered to Duryodhan's son Lakshman but who wanted Abhimanyu instead. Ghatotkacha took the form of Vatsala and walked w/ Lakshman, and then, as his bride, squeezed his hand so that Lakshman fainted. They then fled the scene & Vatsala later married Abhimanyu. Note that this story is not in the Mahabharat - Abhimanyu was monogamous, and only married Uttara.

Thanks for giving some details about that story.

Why only kshatriyas & Brahmins, I thougt polygamy was quite normal at that time among all the casts, it was stopped by Jawaharlal Nehru only some years back, till then it was allowed in India.

Kunti was nit supposed to disclose Bh's name. BRCMB was boring after some months. In DBSK even if they write from Krishna's pov, without altering main events, it will be bearable.😊
