20th Oct Krishna meets Pandavas

Dy & Sh are discussing about their failure, Dy is angry, Sh tells him Life is a jorney, you will find stones & potholes (exact translation is funny) in the way, take this as an unsuccessful attempt, even in Enemies Shav-yatra, respect him. Sh says all the Pandavas & Kunti were looking at him after the accident. Dy says he is not afraid of them. Sh tells him now Dwarakadheesh is coming, he has very big army & capacity to change anything in the world, try to win his confidence, show him you are his biggest well-wisher in the world, if he is on yours side then nobody can defeat you.

In Hastinaura, Krishna is greeted by people, he reaches the palace, is greeted well, Standing in the balcony, Bhishma & Vidura see him as Chaturbhuja Vishnu. Kunti, Yd, Bh, Sa, Nk feel happy . Dy & Sh see him as Kaal.

Here Kunti tells her sons to make arrangements to welcome Krishna, She tells Yd, Krishna is like your brother. Yd replies yes he is my brother, lets go to welcome him. Ar is not coming with them, he goes to prepare a special welcome for Krishna. Kunti still looks worried, Yd tells her not to worry. Sh comes there saying how will she not worry, for a mother 3 things are important, her child's birth, his life & his future. Today Ar was there to save Yd, but everywhere he won't be present. Krishna enters, saying Gandhar Naresh, but God is present everywhere. God is on the side of Dharma, he will protect, save from all the accidents, enemies, wherever Dharma is present, am I right?. Sh says Keshava, you can never be wrong. All are happy seeing Krishna, except Sh & Yd. Kunti says so you have come finally. Krishna says, you are like Yashoda & Devaki Maa for me, I have to come, now put tilak & bless me. Kunti puts tilak on Krishna's forehead, does aarati & says may he get all the blessings in the world. He then looks at Yd & touches his feet saying, he is elder to him. He meets Bh, tells him, you look thin, Bua Kunti is not giving you enough food. Bh replies only you understand my problem, everyone else laughs at me. Krishna asks where is my friend Ar. Bh says he's prepared a special welcome for you in the Garden.

Dy & Sh are watching all these, Sh signals Dy, who comes ahead to meet Krishna. After initial greeting, Sh signals him to talk further, but Krishna tells Bh to take him to the garden, where Ar is.

Bh & Krishna come to the garden, suddenly 2 arrows, comes near Krishna's feet, he understands, tells Bh, now he will find Ar, through these signals. Bh leaves, 2 more arrows falls, Krishna follows, again 2 more arrows, he moves following the arrow & 1 more arrow in the sky, follws with flowers falling from the sky on Krishna. Ar & Krishna meets, he addresses Ar as Parth, Ar says you have given me a special name. Ar gifts Krishna a flute, who feels very happy with the gift, says but I haven't got any gift for you. Ar tells him, you've given me this name Parth, only you will address me by that name.

Sh & Dy are discussing, that now Yd will become Yuvaraj. Sh says but his journey from being Yuvaraja to Maharaaja will be very long. Hastinapur's future King will be my favourite bhanja, Dy. Krishna in meditation, sees this.

I just loved today's episode, even though it's unlike anything I ever read or saw anywhere 😆

Krishna's entry to the Hastinapur court looked strange - since he's here just for a private visit to the Pandavas, he could just have visited them at home, avoiding all others, such as Dhritarashtra, Gandhari, Duryodhan, et al - even made it secret. But what was most strange was his liberally showing his Virat roop to Bheeshma & Vidura. Such a thing is something that only very blessed people can witness - in the Mahabharata, Krishna showed it in the Hastinapur court when Duryodhan tried to seize him, and in the battlefield, he showed his Vishwaroop. But that wasn't for everyone, and it was onlty on very rare occasions.

But the thing I liked was that when Shakuni & Duryodhan saw him, they saw Yamaraj. He should have seemed that way to Dhritarashtra & Gandhari as well. 😈 One thing about this - Dushashan doesn't seem to be a part of Duryodhan-Shakuni plots in this serial (forget Karna)

Aside from that, I found the Pandava welcome for him really endearing - like a Kodak family moment, and I was surprised that he managed to force Yudhisthir to let him touch his feet. I just loved his comments to Bhima about the latter being starved by Kunti. Maybe Krishna should ask Bhabi-ma (Revathy) to arrange a cooking contest of all his 16,002 wives, and send Bhima there to be the judge - something like Master Chef on Star World.

Arjun's welcome looked too dramatic shooting arrows @ Krishna's feet and then sending an arrow into the sky to shower flowers on him - endearing as that was. I wonder why Krishna asked Bhima to get his mace - what does he want him to do? Only thing - Krishna overlooked Nakula & Sahadev here 😳

But the icing on the cake was the way Krishna just rebuffed Duryodhan. The latter was sent to brownnose him, but instead, let out a snide remark asking who is capable of stopping him. Then when Duryodhan, prompted by Shakuni, tried to elongate the conversation, Krishna just asked Bhima to take him to Arjun. This snub was absolutely priceless!!! 😆🤣

Only thing I didn't like - Krishna's response to Shakuni that even if Arjuna wouldn't always be there to protect Yudhisthira, god will. Reason is that in Abhimanyu vadh, this was just the scene - Arjun wasn't there, and although Yudhisthir was saved, it was at a price that made it the worst day for the Pandavas in the war.

And after Duryodhan gets snubbed, poor Shakuni has to pick up the pieces - not only does Duryodhan fail to do what Shakuni wants, but also, Shakuni gets the 3rd degree from Duryodhan for putting him in this predicament. 🤣

Chaturbhuj roop of Krishna was very nice ⭐️ ⭐️... So was His 'Kaal' roop, seen by Duri and Shakuni 😃. Janu is right in her observation, I too remembered the same sc (Krishna meeting Kansa) from SK. ⭐️

(I am in a hurry now, if anyone could post the Y/T link of that sequence from SK here, it will be very good! 😊 Thanks in advanec! 😊 As that song from SK also tells us about the various 'roop' of the Lord observed by the presence of various degrees of Devotion in a person). Very very Relevant over here as we have the same theme in this sc in DBSK. Same was also in R- "Jinki rahi bhaavna jaisi/ Prabhu murati tinh dekhti taisi"- This line is from RamCharit Manas, Shri Ram's entry into the Swayambar hall.

Now, coming to the point of Arjun's presence to Save the life of Abhimanyu (and here Yudi) LOL! I feel, the Word- 'Saving' is not to be meant 'literally' here. It is 'being in the track of Dharma and Saving the Souls' of those persons from going away. Th' Kunti wanted the 'well being' of her sons, but Krishna's words can be interpreted in other ways also, His words Always (and should) have much deeper meaning along with the 'Sansaarik' interpretation.

And Abhimanyu's death was his Destiny/ 'Praarabdh', as I have also commentd regarding the children of Sudama probably (can't remember exactly which Thread it was 😔). The greatest positive point was that Abhi was in the path of Dhrama till the end!

Good point about what Krishna meant - it's just that when he said that, this was what struck me.

There ain't any such things in RSR, but in BRCM, there would be Krishna's showing his viraat-roop in Dhritarashtra's court when he was on his peace mission. There, DSD didn't see any kaal, but they wouldn't withstand the glare, while others like Bheeshma, Drona, Vidura, etc did.
