Krishna's dialogs are a strange mix of high-end philosophy (all that stuff about paramatmas) and current TV pop psychology (everything being centered around, and secondary to love). The latter I can barely tolerate in saas-bahu soaps or prem kahaniyas, but when they smuggle it into a mytho, it just makes it harder to take that message seriously.
So in yesterday's episode, Krishna's explanation about the need to punish evil doers was spot on. I thought the explanation to Rukmini about anybody being related to her in either a past or futurebirth was overkill. But even if it wasn't, in their opening dialog, when Krishna told Rukmi that love was the central thing in Rukmini's desires and that was all that mattered, it really made me go 🤔 Reason Rukmini wanted to marry Krishna was b'cos of what she had heard about his valor and dedication to dharm - she was impressed that after killing Kamsa, he didn't assume the throne, and that Jarasandha and Rukmi hadn't been able to avenge Kamsa. Somehow, changing that to love being the motivating factor behind Rukmini's decision somehow distorts what originally happened (as per the texts)

@Vrish, I think they are trying to make it like a SB katha being told by someone, who tries to add his bit to it, giving social, philosophical message through this show. It sounded so authentic in Mahabharat- "Main Samay hun...". Had they done something like this here, while giving such messages, sticking to the original SB, things would have been different.😊

@Vrish, Actually as Lola has already pointed out that sometime, they are just including dialogues, which have more philosophy in them, than is needed for the immediate situation 😕... Yesterday the same thing happened. The last dialogue of Vishal had so much Depth and Magnitude in it that he had to move his eyes from Rukmini to us 😊 (i.e.- the audience, as it was actually a 'spiritual discourse' meant for the audience). And at the end, a bit abruptly 😕 he had to address Rumini, as if to relate the dialogue with the particular sc. But the topic covered was such a Great ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ one that I wouldn't mind if they keep on doing the same in future. These are the moments that we wait for ... and wish to see again and again while watching any show on Shri Krishna! But yes, they need to be a bit tactful 😊 while Relating the philosophy with any particular scene.

As for the first argument with Rukmi, I LOVED the way Krishna explained that Rukmi's actions made Rukmini lose her Faith in her brother and as a result, she had to ask Krishna for help- that one was so real! ⭐️ Very nicely explained! ⭐️

@ Debipriya, I too like this messages at times, we don't get to here such knowledge in other shows, it is good to discuss this with like minded members here, who are more knowledgable then me, atleast I am watching his show to see & learn something good, which gives +ve vibes.😊

@Minakshi 🤗,

You know, I am also watching DBSK for this reason only, otherwise I don't follow any serial these days, as they all are the same, having repeated story line, nothing elevating in them 😔... Just hope DBSK continues the journey properly with Shri Krishna's blessings 😊

I also Love to read your posts Dear! ⭐️ Specially, I remember your posts in in 'The Messenger of Rukmini in Kaliyug' Thread! Really great to read them! ⭐️

@Debipriya, thanks🤗
That thread was so good & different, hope we get to know more such things through Lord Krishna's blessings. Your post about Mahabharat & SB, Karmayoga & Bhakti, was good too😊
