Was watching the scene before they leave for Rana's place. Arjun tells her - karo tum sach saabit, agar nahi kar paayi to vaada karo ki tum khud yeh ghar chhod kar chali jaaogi. Radz expressions were intresteting to note, it was like, we just had a moment n here he is again asking for a promise to leave?!? N when she says theek hai, his expressions were noteworthy, looking at her sindoor, looking at her face..

@renu, it is a VERY slow drama lol ... But I watched it backwards cuz the September episodes were pretty awesome and normal paced, so to figure out the puzzle pieces I watched the remaining stuff ... And I skipped some boring bits (as long as I knew the story etc). I seem to understand both Hindi and Urdu thanks to watching tv and movies since I was a child lol - so language isn't an issue. In fact I can switch accents too, hehee :)

There is another good scene where Wali goes looking for Farah on horseback and forcefully picks her up and rides back home with her, hehee.

I think diyar e dil is more family drama with little bit of romantic flavor. Whereas manmarziyan was a love story through and through. So I totally understand if ppl can't get into it - plus it doesn't help that the episodes go at snail's pace. I'm still liking it.

I'll reply to your comment after lunch :)

Hello everyone...here for sometime

Got answer of

'Pagal ho gyi ho?..marna chahti ho?'

Batz di's old post-

oooh!!!
Who knew that Arjun would become chhoo
mantar from his wedding mandap (which
incidently didnt look like a high society
wedding, which it should have been since
the parents own an ad agency - gin chun ke
dus log the shaadi mein) not because he
was going after Saral but because that voice
in his head would not let him live in peace
or should I say in revenge.
I just loved the way he started sweating
when he saw Sam entering the mandap. His
conscience which was dead till Radhika
came into his life suddenly jago-fied and
started saying anti-Nandini stuff to him.
But a moment later we got to know it was
not his conscience, it was Radhu reaching
out to him telepathically, if this was not a
romance, I would think it was a badly
scripted scifi movie with a hottie playing the
villain's role.
All the time that the episode was running, I
was sitting with the popcorn tub in my hand,
and a silly grin on my face. Kya
dhamakedaar episode. Battu toh fida ho
gayi. He actually removed his pagadi and
laid it down, like a gesture that spoke of the
burden he carries on his shoulder. That was
classic direction btw... and then just when
he was getting frustrated about his situation
to no end, he heard the voice again. Outside
of his head!
By god! Radhika has to just take Saral's
name aur iss hottie ka khoon khaul uth-ta
hai. How he rushed towards the
direction from where the voice came. It was
almost like saara agression Saral pe utaar
diya. If Radhika would not have stopped him
again, he probably would have killed the guy
under his jootis like the nasty bug that Saral
is.
Today's epi was full paisa vasool hindi
drama! It had angst, action, passion,
comedy, rona dhona, almost izzat lootna fir
baap ka waha aana aur chillanna... aur hero
ka heroine ko bachana ek baar nahi do baar,
aur heroine ka hero ko dekh ke dekhte hi
rehna.
Wah! Wah! Wah!
But jokes apart... On a very poignant note. I
was actually very touched by the way Arjun
unbeknown to himself just somehow finds
her everytime he is upset. These two are
truly made for each other. And i dont
particularly care if their marriage starts with
hate - which I don't think it will - these two
will never be able to stay without each
other.
All that talk that Radhika gave to Arjun
about "bhagvan", "achchai" and all that, was
just not talk, she was trying to get him to
react. Because we all know that Radhika
follows her own heart always...
As Radhika's voice is in Arjun's head,
Radhika has a voice in her heart. A silent
but steady voice, which tells her that
whatever she may think or see, there is
indeed a goodness to this man, and she only
need delve a little deeper than on the
surface to get a glimpse of it. I dunno if any
of you saw it, but I saw it when Arjun was
manhandling her to get the diary from her...
her eyes were pleading to him. Not just so
that she could get to keep the diary, but
more because she so wants him to show
her that he really is not as bad as he makes
himself out to be.
She has time and again seen him doing stuff
for her, for Radhika. And she is perplexed as
to how a man who can care so much about
her, does not care a hoot about Sam. In her
heart it does not add up. I felt that the tears
in her eyes when Arjun burnt the diary were
not just at the horror of evidence being
burnt, but they were tears for Arjun himself.
It was in that moment that her comment
"aath saal ke bacche ke zindagi mein zeher
milaya" actually made deeper sense. In that
moment she saw how much of a hold
Nandini has on him, that just saying her
name and saying that Nandini will lose her
battle gets Arjun back to square one.
I wont be surprised to see in the future that
just as Radhika totally owns Sam and can do
anything for her, she will now do the same
with Arjun. I am betting that her next
project once the Ardhika marriage is done
will be to get Arjun to see the futility of
walking on the path of revenge.
And I am sure this guy will melt... Radhika
has a huge weapon in her hand as far as
Arjun is concerned, which she can wield
against him. HERSELF.
For all he might say... raaste ke patthar ko
hatana aata hai, vagaira vagaira... the
moment something happens to Radhika,
Arjun's rage, hatred and vengeance just
melts and all that is left is only love and
concern.
How he leapt at her pallu on a moment's
notice, when he saw her catching fire. How
he took her by the shoulder and gave her a
piece of his mind. And Radhu watched all of
it. She has recorded all of this in her heart,
and she will use it to get Arjun on the line,
well away from the shadow of Nandini, and
this journey will make a great story to
watch,
Popcorn on the house!!! Come one, come
all. The most exciting part of the tale
starts now!!

same epi.n esprit's rply to batz di.unpredictable show..lol

Awesome post BB ... you read my mind!!!
Those were my thoughts exactly when
watching the episode. Since you described
the entire episode so beautifully i won't add
much.
1) LOVED that Arjun left the mandap as
soon as he saw Sam ... that scene
made me laugh so much ... good lord , i still
haven't recovered. His face when Sam is
walking in ... just can't get over it!!
Anyway, I am glad he took off the hat-thing
- it didn't really suit him, lol. But yes i see
the metaphor and direction at work there
2) RAdhika is on to the fact that Arjun has
been indoctrinated all his life ... i mean she
noticed first hand today what just a mere
mention of Nandini-di does to Arjun - he
goes into stone cold mode. And I HOPE she
is the one who basically brings him out of
that revenge trance.
3) OK ... so we all loved Arjun beating up
Saral ... i loved Radhika slapping Saral ... lol
... i am glad she didn't cower and be all
afraid - she was giving a good fight- yay!!
Btw, do u guys think Saral will re-appear in
future episodes showing his manhoos
shakal?
4) Arjun-Radhika scene The last
bit before everyone just comes in ... the
pallu fire scene and him holding and
scolding her out of concern ... loved the
shock and surprise on Radhika's face ... like
"why do you care about me". I am pretty
sure she has a hunch now that Arjun has
some feelings for her...
So after watching a some behind the scene
segments ,,, it seems that the pre-cap is just
Radhika's thought process ... oh my it is so
hard to predict this show!
Btw, I think Radhika looked gorgeous in this
sari ... it really suits her ... though not the
bride (as yet), but to me she looked just
fab!

@renu ... They're muslims so cousin marriage is allowed. They got married legally but no living together. Moiz true colors will be shown in later episodes. Farah is young and immature at times but she has a good heart.

@Renu - Not sure if this answers your question, but will still try. Esprit, foresight, pippa will be able to explain better..
During the holi scene, in my opinion, she had jus started being friends with Sam with her helping with the apt n everything, she didn't want any kind of misunderstanding between them especially because of a person whom Sam was in love with. N yes, it was an intimate gesture and Radz might have been too shocked to even express what happened, even if she knew it was all for Sam.

In all other scenes that you mentioned too, she was sure(or atleast she thought she was) of her feelings towards Arjun. For her, he was always Sam's love n hence felt the need to explain so that she isn't misunderstood or complicated things for Sam. Rem, the proposal day scene when he questions her intentions about not wanting to move away from his path. She couldn't even imagine doing that to Sam ever. However, in the end, thatz what she was accused of.

Arjun, in my opinion, was always caught between the fight that his mind and heart played where mostly his heart overruled n he didn't feel the need to explain himself. Ironically for him, he always knew these will be the only moments for him(excluding the marriage scene) to cherish.

Wenever Ardhika's private moment disturbed by some1 either Sam r nandhu who witnessing them,..Arjun was so silent n he never tries to explain the situation,...Infact he bows his heads down without any contact with the person in question,...But Radz comes there n explains them that its nothing n the actual situation may b,...

My question is y arjun dinn do that n y radz explains them n it seems radz too explaining the b4 scene of their intimacy,...whether she understood that its sth odd than usual btw them n so she try to save both of them 4m being misunderstood,...it means she too understood their intimacy like arjun,...

Some Cases are,..

1.After Holi scene,...Sam asked arjun,..wat he s doing there expecting him 2 answer but he remained silent n radz answered but she dinn told anything wat arjun did,..She just said i was preparing 4 temple,..diya,bati,...cant understand n stopped midway by putting sindoor on arjun again,.next she said Phir se,..& arjun's anger makes Nesam to understand she poured sindoor on arjun by mistake,...

2.Sam radz apartment,...Again she kept her finger prints in arjun's shirt after Sam-Arj engagement day,...Arjun was slowly rubbing sindoor on her nose n nandhu noticed it,...Nandhu being understanding person questioned radz,...here radz too felt embarrassed wen they saw nandhu down stairs n steal glances at arjun 4 a second,...But arjun asusual remained silent,...

3.Payal scene:Arjun makes her to wear payal by his hands ignoring her hesitation,...wen nandhu questioned radz again,...she saw arjun a sec n said gimmiji asked me 2 teach dance 2 sir,...arjun again remained silent,...

4.Marriage drama intimacy:Arjun n radz r in awkward moment,...arjun holding radz arms with her saree pallu being misplaced,...wen every 1 shouted at arjun,...he asusual remained silent dinn take any effort to clear the mess n leave the ball 2 radz end despite being its gonna affect his marriage n his prolonged revenge,...Radz again felt embarrassed n she explained it but v knew she later cook up a story of their fake affair 2 stop the marriage,...even then arjun said all this r a lie but never tried 2 explain sth 2 please sam,...most of the time he remained silent asusual n he started ly wen sam questioned him n radz stopped her drama 4 a while after getting slap 4m mala,...

5.b4 sam-radz slap drama, radz stopped arjun by holding his hands n sam saw them,...radz dinn took her hand 4m arjun still,...n arjun dinn show any objection in it even being in anger,...sam ly split their hands n took arjun away 4m her,...

I wanna hear ur opinion guys???

Disclaimer:Here Radz BF-Sam name ly taken,..No offence in it as it required 4 ardhika discussion,...not 4 bashing any1

It's very simple - it's in their character. Arjun isn't the type to explain anything. What he does is observes everyone's reactions and makes a mental note about it. As for Radhika, she comes from a family where they have "talking" competition. It's in her nature to speak and explain, and discuss. It can have it repercussions too as you cited in some examples.

Why was Arjun quiet in most of the situations? Because he was focused on revenge! He spent years of his life to get a job at Birdsong, get close to Sam - and he couldn't sway from the path when this was what he had been manipulated to do since he was young. Had he said anything, it would have made others doubt his real intentions. Plus, Arjun isn't the type to tell anyone his deepest thoughts and desires - hence he always stayed quiet, even in front of Nandu (particularly when he was smitten with Radhika). But he did question Nandu later in privacy about everything Radz had said. This is where his exposure to the real world comes in - go back to the trust bhaashan he gave Radz ... he knows people will never believe even the most honest people at face value. So he keeps quiet, and tries to garner information - plus sometimes explaining about some minor things makes the issue even bigger than it is so he avoids creating such situations for himself.

As for Radhika, she credited Sam for being the person who made her dreams possible and for befriending her in a new city, so she was willing to go all lengths for her. Radz's biggest problem was that sometimes she explained too much - even the slightest doubt she would tell to Sam or Neil or even Arjun, lol - thinking they would trust her or back her up. But obviously there were many times when she didn't have the proof so she looked like the boy crying wolf (even if she was right). But this is her immaturity, right - here you can tell she has no experience of the real world. At times, emotions got the better of Radhika and that is why she usually landed in more trouble than the troublemaker himself, lol.
