Thanks, everyone for clearing my doubt.

@raji_sudha: Me too. I also watched a scene here and there. Even saw Arjun's entry in all that bright light literally leaving Sam blinded by him...she remained that way till a lightening by the name of Neil struck her!

I too saw that promo and wondered what was going on. Since I hadn't watched the show properly, I was one very confused person. But that promo made me curious. I thought Sam and Arjun were an item...it hadn't interested me at all...they were too alike in every way and that made it boring for me.

That promo changed everything for me...that's when I realized what was about to come and started watching the show. By then, I think Arjun had already set Radz up and again I wondered what was happening. Is he the villain or the hero? But the moment her hair hit his face as she warned him about Sam and walked away, I knew this was the done deal. There was no looking back.

Btw, my real name is Sudha too.😆

wat u exactly thought wat was arjun doing while leaning on wal wall after dori scene

Dori scene

I think I have similar thoughts to @foresight and @prish

It was a combination of factors actually - we know he had developed an emotional connect for Radhika after Lonavala. Then came the proposal day where he sees her first time in "non-behen-ji" clothes and well, you could tell Arjun likes what he sees. So he already has some underlying feelings for her (that he is unaware of), then he sees Radhika looking gorgeous in a sari (different than how he has always seen her), and of course he eyes Saral (who he finds to be a complete oaf, and rightly so) hovering over her. He is attracted to her but definitely keeping all his feelings etc at bay as he cannot back out from the revenge promise.

Further she is always in his face because of the whole "Nandini-di" mystery so they are both trying to out-do each other in finding out the truth. This will sound weird but I think Radhika's persistence in finding out his details and being her detective self was a turn on for Arjun. It was like he has met his match and he enjoyed the cat-mouse games that were happening. He knew her exact thought process by then and hence would end up wherever she went looking for clues.

Cut to chase, engagement day - where the Nandu mystery is revealed and all is seemingly well! When he sees Radhika in semi-clothed state, his testosterone goes into overdrive. Even then Arjun looks away all flustered and tries to leave. But with her asking for the blouse naively, and apologizing to him in that cute manner, those feelings that he kept at bay seemed to resurface. Anyway when she asked him to help her with the stuck beads and he looked around to actually view her be it through the screen... it was his undoing. Because in that moment, he entered this trance where he only wanted to see and / or touch her. Hence after he was done helping her and tried to walk away... he couldn't actually move ... instead he turned around and went to look at her beyond the screen, and further on to help her dress / drape herself. I had my mouth wide open in that scene and my thoughts were "Arjun to gaya kaam se".

It was when she flipped around to thank him that his trance was broken and he was wondering "oh F###, I have major feelings for her." Basically when Arjun was by the door resting his head against the wall he was trying to clear his thoughts (in vain) because he couldn't get "Radhika's view" out his head. At the same time, he was recollecting himself after the surge of emotions and hormones, lol. But then Saral's appearance was all he needed like a bucket of ice cold water, LOL.

esprit:
That was the most beautiful sexual/sensual scene I've ever watched even in movies...
Yet, it was deeply romantic as well. There was nothing offensive about it...both were fully clothed...well, at least Arjun was😆...without a single overt sexual gesture, the whole scene was drenched in the physical, sensual as well as the emotional moments.

The trance-like state of Arjun was in was the mixture of all of the above and, although it seemed that Radz wasn't involved in it, even she felt the heat wave which made her frown and clutch her skirt desperately. Her unawakened feelings and a sense of self-preservation must have made her turn to him in that determined manner and that fixed smile, making her say the most obvious and mundane of observations. .."Congratulations, Arjun SIR!"

Brought back to earth with a painful thud, the poor guy could do nothing else but leave the room without even acknowledging her wishes. He was made to realize he had no choice but to marry Sam and at the same time, the intensity of his feelings, both emotional and physical, for Radz...and the realization that he could do nothing about either of the two situations almost brought him to tears and desperation that he need a moment more to savour and relive what he had just felt before he gathered himself and went ahead with his mission.

Why marry Radhika?!

Hahaa, the truth or dare marriage! I was like WTH is happening here?!

I think the best way to understand what was going on in Arjun's mind is to think back to the "dulha bhaag gaya" scene, where Arjun disappears from the wedding stage.

On wedding day, as Arjun arrived looking the part of a perfect dulha, did you guys see his expressions - he was getting cold feet - he did not look like a guy who was ready to be married to Sam. Arjun kept thinking of Radhika and all her words to him. Then when he saw Sam walking towards him, he freaked out, and just ran away from the stage / mandap. As he went to recollect his thoughts in a corner somewhere, there he was further convoluted with thoughts regarding Radhika.

Next we have the Saral beat-down, and Arjun telling Radz to just go away from all this mess. Before he beat up Saral, his mind kept replaying moments where she tells him of her completely trust / faith in him. And after he saves her respect etc and advises her to not waste her life on an undeserving friendship, Radhika takes back everything she had ever said about trust and faith, and guts him further in the heart by calling him pure evil (because of Nandini's lie). Of course she was trying to get a reaction from him so he would realize how wrong he is and to spill the beans to Sam. But in all this mess, he was so upset, angry and confused that he decided to call her bluff, just to one up her. Like a battle of egos.

The thing is he knew she wouldn't back out - how many times in the past had she backed down!?! None! So how was this different? And yes he started the wedding as an ego thing - but he could have stopped it anytime, except he didn't. Remember when I said for Arjun, it was always a turn-on that Radhika would always be giving him a good fight by matching her wits and ego. This was nothing different. Partly, it was ego but subconsciously he also did not want to let her go completely. And so he went with along with it, much to Nandu's long face, LOL.

Radhika on the other hand had no clue she would end up getting married to him, lol. I don't think she realized in that moment she had it in her to completely match Arjun's ego and wits! Hence her conversation with her mother was so different the following morning, as compared to Arjun's convo with his sister. And then when he came to pick her up and play the part of the doting husband, he was just natural at it like that is what he wanted to happen. He carrying her to the car and talking about Savitri ... that was all Arjun being himself.

Beautifully described pippa n esprit. I love that scene too!!
Their conversation before that .. Their romance during the scene n d drama that followed it..

I loved how promptly he went to bring her dupatta after tying the dori n she too waited for him to get it.. not leaving a chance to feel her even when handing it to her.. the whole thing was very aesthetically acted n shot..

The earlier dance where Arjun was in full on revenge mode and tried to make Sam jealous by dancing with Radhika. He kept on swirling Rads and she kept requesting him to leave her. He stopped in between and then again caught her hand and started swirling her. It was a kind of rude then.

But now the dance sequence (which was rather for 2 seconds), he had all his attention on Radhika. He was so lost in dancing with her that he dint want to let her go. She again tried to stop him but he kept on dancing with her till he saw Sam watching them.

when the 1st sequence happened? I missed so many ardhika scenes. If there is no hot star I know someone would have uploaded all ardhika scenes on YT

Do you all think Monica would be a good choice to play the adult Chakore in Udaan? The character is a spunky one. I think Monica would fit in nicely.
