The 3 Cs of life! Choices, Chances, Changes! You must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change. That was the theme for today's episode. No jokes, but the writers really develop every episode with a theme in mind - we don't really witness that on most television shows, so this is a treat to watch for a literature and drama junkie like myself!
How come u analyse everything yr..i loved 3Cs .Perfect title and u got our writers theme...So true..kudos to writers !
Another great episode; in fact today's show was so good that it left me speechless! It almost felt like I was part of DYM - that is how good the writing, direction & acting was - I still have goosebumps on my arms. It's hard for me to articulate everything as it unfolded because there was a lot that happened today; I actually like this pace for any TV show - keeps my interest vested through the entire duration.
Yup,yesterday everything was perfectOne of the best epi...each scene, acting, dailogs, direction ..time n all up to the mark..no second here n there.
The "idiot-pagli' conversation was pretty cute. Neil finally told Sam what had been on his mind for the past few months. No sugar coating or anything - just straight up how he loved her in the other sense too. I was actually surprised when he told her about his plan of leaving BS as well. But rightly done - she needed to know he will not always be there to pick up after her; if she can never think of him in that sense, then Sam needs to let go of Neil otherwise he will never be able to move on in life. That is the sad reality for Neil. He is in too deep to not be hurt if next time Sam falls for someone that is not him. Neil made that choice today of taking a chance on his love. Now, the ball is in Sam's court - this relationship depends on the choice she makes!
Yeah..neil told her directly..that was perfect..sam's face was worth watching after that!nice scene!
Again, the father-daughter relationship was touched on today - sigh, Samrat really understands his daughter more than Piyali. Wasn't he the one against Arjun working at BS after the wedding fiasco? He knew exactly why, and we all witnessed that previous week. Again, that was the perfect parental guidance given to his daughter as a friend. He re-iterated that life for her can be everything she wants; she just has to be ready to make that change. (Off Topic: I guess Manya went back to Australia, lol)
Touchy one by father-daughter,but he really knew abt neil frm start then why arjun n all shadi drama yr?
Ok on to my favorite part ... sigh ... there was so much attention to detail in every dialogue, expression, and direction, it just felt very real. And judging from everyone's comments on this forum, we all fell in LOVE!! lol. Arjun & Radhika - where else will I find a couple so awesome to watch as them?
@Bold-u speak my mind..its my most most most.fav.part..ArDhika😳Yup..ArDhika magic was back...I dnt know but Aham & Monica 👏shares Amazing,Beautiful Chemistry.😉..kudos to them I will give Salute to them after writers.👏..all scenes comes very naturally...even their faces...eye contacts says a lot..bina bole..bina smje...both hving that Spark..that i love to watch on my tv screen..Yup my Fire & Ice jodi..After serial end..where v r gng to get them yr..Arjun & Radhika..😳.deep sigh!
You know why I love Arjun - even in his bizarre flirting with double meaning dialog, he actually says everything to Radhika that is from his heart and in fact the truth. We just need to take the innuendo out of his words. He did everything for a reason, and it was never to take advantage of the person he desires. For one thing, Arjun really does enjoy teasing Radhika so he always tries to ruffle her feathers in ways he knows would affect her. Second, he said everything in that boyish dirty way because he wanted Radhika to back out from this marriage (he honestly thought she would reject his advances). And lastly, he was testing the waters to see how serious she is about this new found faith in their marriage, because till now he really has no clue how she feels about him or if she can even like him in that sense.
Well i too love arjun .bt that washroom scene...i still get angry on him..i think that scene wasn't directed well..u can also check..bt i dnt wants to talk abt that scene now...!leave it.
He was really keen to know abt her feelings..that was really intresting to see😛
So what actually transpired is something that surprised Arjun - he was very sure she would reject him completely in the husband sense. But Radhika didn't back out - first, she agreed to the date with said husband, chugged those glasses of French grape juice to garner courage and hesitantly agreed for him be her husband in full right. But the biggest question was WHY?! Why did she agree?! Very simple, Radhika has fallen in love with Arjun even if her mind hasn't had the time to wrap around that feeling. That is why we see her so nervous about everything! Today, she trusted her instincts; the instinct that in turn told her to trust Arjun and choose him over everything else.
@bold-yup...she actually DID..otherwise she wud hv backed out before gng to arjun!
Radhika is the only one on this show who has figured out the dichotomy that is her husband and she truly cherishes the real Arjun hiding under that entire facade. And he knows this, which is why he is having such a hard time letting go of her.
Arjun took a chance today - and he put everything on the line. It was a gamble that could either save him or completely destroy everything. Many people took this choice that he put forward for face value considering he meant sex. But that is ok, because they don't understand Arjun's character. If we listen to what he actually says, it was "ya mujhe apna lo, ya is shadi ko khatam kar do". He was up front with her to either choose him or reject their marriage completely. He didn't want to hear about anyone or anything - this was about them only! Not Sam, not family; just Arjun & Radhika!
As soon as Radhika walked her heavy steps towards Arjun bridging in that gap between them, Arjun's choice was made. That choice was his wife over revenge (Nandini). Hence his very last words today to Radhika were "shayad ek din yehi karna pare" as in see himself through her eyes!
Arjun had asked Radhika to come to him in all sincerity, and when she actually complied, his heart just completely took over. If you see his demeanor, it's like his life's only desire (khwahish) is literally walking towards him and he just doesn't want to let go. And that is what led to him being intimate - the fact that he needed to make sure it was real so he can hold on to her for as long as she lets him. It was never about sex, everything that happened was because he couldn't help himself in that moment. He stopped knowing that it is Radhika's respect on the line here, and he could never do anything to hurt her so deeply.
^Here,he was actually taking full n final decision abt their so called marriage drama-u hv to come to me OR i will b choosing my revenge over U..!!When she walked up to him..look at his face..abt his choice..he was happy for not choosing revenge..after that the real arjun was there...I loved that dailog ...it explains a lot ...show is ending...sigh!!agree with this...He can NEVER ever dare to hurt her..their each dailog had really deep meaning..fantabulous!
Actually I was more shocked than Arjun when she stopped him from moving away completely. Further, Radhika almost told him what she was feeling in that moment, but Arjun stopped her before she would say or do something that she may later regret. And he didn't want to be her reason for regret! The dialogues I won't repeat since I am sure most of us have repeatedly watched (lol), but yeah that was just so gentleman like. If Radhika had any doubt on her feelings before, they just got confirmed after this conversation. That moment made her realize that she actually loves this man completely.
The last scene of them together on bed, lying in complete symmetry with a divide of pillows between them was perfectly mirrored! It's a direction technique and in this case it was to show that they both feel and want the same thing. Basically both their feelings are in sync now - as in they have realized they are in love. This mirrored positioning and angle between two characters is often used in movies etc to show that everything is in balance as it should be.
Anyway, the entire episode from start to end was just applauding worthy. I didn't find it rushed; maybe because I am staying off all the spoilers etc, so everything today was a very good surprise. In fact as mentioned earlier, I loved the pace of today's show. Everything starting from the scenes of a drunken Radhika - who kept chugging the French grape juice to calm her nerves, lol, making all sorts of weird / funny face in process - to all that followed was absolutely perfect. I kept thinking to myself in said scene that she doesn't look anything out of this world, pretty average in everything, BUT she has the complete attention of her husband who just can't seem to take his eyes off her nor can he wipe that goofy smile off his face. Arjun was so amused by her antics that he had to take his chance today. And that chance has led him to choose a path that will change the course of his life!
Today I am quite incoherent as I write this, so I may have missed some points. I quickly wrote this as I am ZZZ & its way past my bedtime so ignore my grammar mistakes please. Anyway, I absolutely can't wait till tomorrow's episode.
Cheers!
