Hi! my name is tejaswini, have been a silent reader on the forum but hope to be more active! I'm a fan of sam and radhu's friendship and neal whose my fave. I didn't really care much about the shipping as long as sam and radhu don't break up. đ
Amidst the COUNTLESS simply low down demeaning female characters in hindi serial triangles and friendships, where the characters plot against their friends and sisters and well-wishers for SOME guy they just saw, comes this WONDERFUL story, and radhika...what can i say? i relate to Sam, she's my fave out of the two but the usp of the show for me has ALWAYS been radha-sam friendship. what a WONDERFUL friendship. its a friend's duty to safeguard you against troubles, but very few friends can actually take your troubles and wear it around their neck. as such i feel really bad for radhika ending up with such a halka character like arjun. now i hope against hope that sam isn't turned negative and the show doesn't play out the same overplayed crazy lover plot that we see in 1000's of other serials. which generation plays that narrative anymore? this generation of young indian women, we have self-respect and we MOVE ON! we don't pine away for a guy whose a basic bad boy stereotype without any depth or substance. please unmask that silly bint nandini infront of sam and please get her with neal (my TOTAL fave in the show) and show her supporting radhika as she tries to maneuver life through this difficult marriage. this has been a really ground breaking show in terms of developing two positive protagonists who till now have really been each others shield and shoulder, they've showed how far a friend can go to protect her friend. now i want sam to reciprocate. I'm tired of watching these one way concern and friendship between women in serials, i wanna see sam be the same way with neal's support (alas theres the triangle with her sister about to start) and pit her friendship first.
i don't really give a hoot about the shipping or arjun, frankly he's juvenile and an angry young man without a remotely justifiable cause, which late 20's man can't comprehend that his sister is a damned home wrecker who got exactly what every woman in her situation should expect? its much more common for the man to go back to his family than the alternate. it happens all the time, GET OVER IT. he's suppose to be a grey character whose constant depressing heavy breathing on radhika is suppose to make me sympathize with his intent to kill sam...NOT! he understands saral is bad for being mean to radhika, but him killing an innocent girl is fine? they need to really give some genuine mettle to this character. ps: i LOVE the actor, karna was my FAVE in mahabharat. arjun as a character reminds me of an immoral and immature version of arnav from ipkknd and this love hate track and passion and all doesn't really make him likeable.
